Well, I made the big change and called CRO this morning. Spoke with a really nice CM (Debra) who had to do a lot for me but was really nice. I was originally booked at AKl Concierge (10-14) & BWI Concierge (14-18). We decided to extend our trip but stay mostly at a mod, so now we are going 7th-16th @ CSR & 16-18th @ AKL Concierge. We'll still be able to do the Sunrise Safari but save alot of money in the long run.
The CM had some interesting comments while we talked. She was looking for room at CSR with a AAA discount & there were none available. She suggested that we look at CBR or POR, but I told her that was not something I wanted at this point. The she asked if I had considered staying at POFQ--she said that if I called back later in the year that availablility might open up at that resort. I mentioned that I knew the resort was closed right now & she responded by saying 'Right now it is, but it will re-open at some point in time". So who knows, maybe POFQ will be done sooner than expected.
She also asked if we were planning on seeing Cirque during our stay & I said yes, but I didn't know when. She said to check back in Nov/Dec for some "great ticket deals, in case they were offered". So maybe there is something in the works.
She also mentioned that she spoke with me in the past as she remembered our special requests (guaranteed NS for DS allergies, TTY/TDD kit for DH -he's hearing impaired, fridge in room since I am on a very restricted diet, etc..) & even mentioned something we had talked about during another conversation.
I'm obviously not going to hold her to anything she said, but she seemed much more *chatty* than anyone I have spoken with lately.
