Just changed from WL Villa's to Poly!

I am so excited! I happened to go to Disney's site last night to see what availability there was for our upcoming trip (18 days away!!!!) and the Polynesian was still available. For only $200 more I was able to change from a Studio at the WL Villa's to a Garden View room at the Poly. I am keeping this a surprise from the hubby and I know he'll be thrilled. He mentioned how nice it would be to stay at a resort along the Monorail line a few months ago. We've only stayed in the Value Resorts so far so this will be quite a change for us and I know we'll fall in love with the Poly!

You will LOVE the Poly!

We go to Disney 2x a year and stay at POP so our other stay can be at the Polynesian. Once you get used to the convenience of catching the monorail, you'll be hooked. We still love our stays at POP because of the themeing, but the Poly is where we can really relax and enjoy being at Disney.

See upon check-in if you can get a garden view room in Fiji or Tokelau.

I too liked the Pop theme when I was there last year!

Thank you very much!!! I am trying to read up all I can about the Poly now. Back in June I made a breakfast ADR at the Kona Cafe for our relaxing day so it will be great to be on premises and not have to get up early to travel, lol.

Oh, I agree, you will LOVE it!! Just a stunning resort, a very relaxing respite from the parks, in my opinion, yet just a monorail ride away from the 2 biggies! I fell in love with it, that's for sure!! I can also highly recommend Tokelau as a request, very central location.

Thank you! I will note that location. The more I see of the resort the more I realize that this is the one for us. We'll be celebrating our 11th Anniversary during the vacation and my hubby came home in June after 16 months in Afghanistan. We've had to postpone the trip due to his time away so I can't wait to get there!!

We absolutely love the Poly! The resort is just so relaxing. And absolutely beautiful. The evening sunsets out by the pool are a great way to relax. We love watching the water parade and fireworks from the beach. The music and torch lit paths are wonderful in the evenings. Great transportation options and huge rooms. We always stay concierge and have a great time! Hope you have a wonderful trip!
