I thought both the Polynesian and the CR had bigger rooms than the GF. I thought those rooms were a bit small. We stayed in Sugarloaf and had three in the room. I wouldn't attempt three adults and three kids even if it was allowed.

I've read different things. Poly has the largest rooms in 3 of the new longhouses.
As for GF, I've read that their rooms are 440 sq ft. Other places, I've read they are 400sq ft.
CR I've read some places that the rooms are 394 sq ft. Others, I've read 412 sq ft.

According to wdwinfo.com:

Poly - 409 sq ft
CR - 436 sq ft
GF - 440 sq ft

According to allearsnet:

Poly - 409 sq ft
CR - 422 sq ft
GF - 400 sq ft

I'd say book the GF!! We've stayed at both the Wilderness Lodge and the GF and we LOVED them both!!! You'll be more than comfortable at the GF-and being able to hop on the monorail going to/coming from MK is great!!!

To get your WL "fix", see if you can get an ADR at Whispering Canyon for lunch or dinner. Then you can spend a little time over there. If MIL is ok with it, maybe she'll watch the kids one night and you and DW can have dinner at Artist Point.

Either way, have a GREAT trip - and kuddos to you for wanting to include MIL!!

I say book the GF. Go to your beloved WL on your next trip w/o MIL. Even though she may drive you crazy, grandparents for your kids won't be around forever so make them happy while you can. I believe everything I have ever read says GF has the biggest rooms.
