Just cancelled

After much discussion my daughter and I decide to cancel our DL trip. With ROA being drained, Fantasmic down, and WOC not being up and running for our dates we felt we were not getting the most value for our dollar.

We instead chose to take advantage of the GC offer and go to WDW. It has been 2 years since we have been to DL and I miss it but we are going to wait for it to be done before we go back.

I'm sorry you'll be missing Disneyland, but at least WDW is great too.

Not at all April is a lovely time to go

We actually enjoy the heat. It was 105f and 90% humidity in October when we did FD at WDW and we loved it! It's the cold weather that make me cranky

I can understand your sentiments. For as much as I would like to visit Dl. before May, I would really rather wait until ROA no longer looks like a drought ridden area.

I wonder if tons of people are putting their DL trips on hold until summer or fall this year because of all the work being done...

Our trip in June could be way crowded. Maybe I should think about moving it up.

My family and I are having issues with this concept as well. Ours is even MORE drastic however, as we are considering waiting until 2012 when the DCA work is finished. I don't know if we'll be able to wait that long, but I certainly understand where you're coming from...
