Just cancelled my trip :(

Ugh! I just cancelled my trip. We were supposed to leave Friday for 3 nights at CBR. The stress of getting everything ready for the holidays before I left was just overwhelming. So I decided to cancel. At least I can breathe now. I have a little extra $$ to finish up shopping and I have about 1,000 lbs. lifted off of my shoulders. I feel a little better that I will be making a deposit to sail on the Wonder tomorrow.

I cancelled my Jan 1 trip due to stress/the economy and it turned out to be a blessing - I just found out this week that I'm starting a new job the Monday after we were supposed to return. (I had been laid off 11 months ago and my field is so specialized, that no one was leaving their positions due to the economy.) Now, we have that cash to use on renewing our DL APs, and to have the best Christmas ever!!!

I cancelled my birthday trip for Jan last Friday. It is a little depressing but with things in life/economy the way they are right now, I know that it was a smarter decision. Nonetheless, disheartening, disappointing but I can always plan another trip.

I cancelled last monday. DH was in a car accident on the Friday so no trip for us. We were to leave Christmas day. It was a surprise trip for our DSs so they didn't know we were going.

I am now running around buying gifts for Christmas. At least DH will be okay lots of physio in his future though.
