Just came back from POR!!!!

We just returned from a week stay at POR. The resort again was beautiful as always and didn't disappoint us. We got there 11 hours late due to our flight so a CM( I called while stuck in Buffalo) had already booked me in prior to our arrival and they gave us building 14 and we didn't pay extra. I have a feeling they felt sorry for us due to the flight cancellation. We took the ME and it was awesome, no problems at all. We checked in at 12 midnight and the CM we had didn't know what she was doing , she took all my information and I informed her that I was already pre booked in due to the flight change and we had been up for 21 hours. (I originally had requested building 27 but the CM said the building wasn't being used.) She started typing on the computer again and kept talking to herself, like I don't understand why this is doing this. She then just ups and leaves and goes behind the wall. I'm standing there for 5 minutes and then I head to another CM and asked her where did my CM go, she says she'll go find out and then my CM finally comes back and says. The cards didn't print out right the manager is dealing with it. I said you could of told me this instead of leaving me here for 5 minutes with 3 kids very tired She finally after 5 minutes throws me the welcome package and my keys. She then says do you need a parking permit NO I just flew in 11 hours late!!!!!! I just picked up my things, gave her this look and left. She added chargeing privelges to mine and my husbands but wasn't suppose to but I left it until the next day and I complained to a manager about her and the women knew who she was. Let me tell you if this was my first time at disney or POR I would of yelled at the women on the spot. Other then that our stay at POR was magical. We got to see BOB x3 and we tried the boat to DTD for the first time and loved it. We ate snack credits every morning for breakfast except for 2 in which we used CS credits. We bought the 5 POR mugs and we used them everyday and night. We used the delivery service to the hotel for parcels from the parks and never had a problem. The buses were great and the new announcements were fine. If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Oh I forgot we had the best housekeeping lady we have ever had. She have our kids everyday and new towel animal. We had baby and mommy elephants, we had dogs, we had my kids stuffed animals all propped up in beds and a towel holder for our toothbrushes. This lady was so awesome that the 2 days she was off during our stay the new lady left us no towels and no kleenex. I had just caught a cold on the Sunday and I had to call HK when we returned from the parks at 11pm and they showed up in 5 minutes with all new stuff. We got to meet her the last day and I tipped her very well. My kids everynight wrote letters to her to thank her for making there night so magical. I will be writing a letter to POR and disney about what a great women she is and about the nasty one on our arrival.

Sorry about the nasty check in! Great thing that you were able to hold your tongue realizing that it wasn't the norm!

We will be staying at POR for the 1st time this coming May, what room number did you have? did you like it? How close was it to the food court & buses & boat?

Thank you for the review. We love to stay at the POR! I am used to the CM's being overly friendly where you can hardly get away from them without being loaded with pins and literature. lol.
