Just called and the guy said I had a pin...

he can't tell me what he has, but says for me to give him my info on the stay dates etc. I give him my dates and he gives me a price, supposedly with a pin, and its the same price as the package I booked today.

So I call back thinking that guy didn't know what he was doing and the girl I talked to said there's a pin but its either in the future or expired because it won't let her activate it :confused3

Has this hapened to anyone else??? I am on the edge of my seat right now :)
 
It did happen and it actually turned out to be a valid PIN. I was emailed a PIN last year I think (I have gotten several so I lose track). It was one with a bunny and a clock. When I called to use the PIN they said it was not in the system. I was a little stressed. I talked to a supervisor. They told me that a company sends out the emails with the PINS and sometimes they reach the customers before they are active in the system. Within a few days, my PIN was active. If I were a betting person, I'd say you have a PIN. Good luck!

I called last week to see if there was a PIN attched to my name and there was! I was able to book a package for July and it saved me over $400 from the website price and it was cheaper than AAA too. I think they said it was 20% off. Never hurts to call and ask!! :yay:

Oh I hope so!!!! Do you happen to recall what the pin was for?!? I need free dining at this point because we decided to make it a 10 day trip and well I'm not so sure we can afford it without free dining!

It was a Room Only Discount. That has been what I have gotten the most either by email or US Mail. I did get one in the US Mail for Free Quick Service Dining about a year ago. I hope you get your Free Dining PIN or a great % off. I have a feeling there will be a GP Free Dining offer for the dates you are going. Don't worry. Just keep planning and looking forward to your vacation. Everything will work out "magically"!!
 
My husband called today and the CM said he has a PIN :cool1: She said it won't be active until March 15th and she could only tell him it was a room-only discount but not how much of a discount. The CM said that sometimes Disney sends them out before they are active. I'm excited to see what kind of discount it is. We are really torn as to whether the FD is worth it for us so maybe a good room-only discount is coming our way :)
 
This is so weird. I called this week and the CM said I have a pin but couldn't tell how much it was for. I said I will call back and check next week and he said, "wait to call back in Mid-March". I thought it was really stange, so I called back the next night, told the cm I spoke with what the other cm had said. He checked and said I had a code for 15% off that was good until June. We are going in Sept. so cannot use it.

Ugh, not what I want to hear either :sad2: 15% isn't enough for us and we are also going in Sept.
 
I've been hoping for a PIN for September..nothing so far. My sister, ,who has never been to WDW and is planning on coming with us just got one for a room only discount, but it was only 10% and not valid on the dates we are going. When you call to ask about a PIN code, what do you say? I called once awhile back and the CM said they don't attach codes to your name, like she had no idea what I was talking about. Do you just come right out and ask if there is a PIN attached to your name, or do you say you give them your vacation plans first..like dates, resort...or does it really matter what you say? I felt like an idiot the first time I called and the CM didn't know what I was talking about!:confused3
 
we booked our trip for Dec 22-27...so far we only have a PIN for discout rooms but they only went through the 20th of Dec...I am really hoping for a pin for free dining, I know that year before last we had gotten one for free dining(through Xmas!) but had decided to use the code we had for discout rooms instead(35%)....Here's Hoping for free dining-that would make it magical!
 
I finally got through, after the system outage, no pin for me. The CM was a little vague about if I book now and a discount comes out I could change my reservation prior to 45 days?? Maybe a discount is coming. :banana::rolleyes1
