Just called about our PS's

I called to see about making two of our PS later (currently have 4pm at CRT, and 450 at MM)....CM said that they have nothing later! 4pm is just so early to eat dinner, especially considering the day we are going is EMH.

Oh well....I got the feeling that because we are a party of 2, it maybe unusual

The lastest we were able to get at CP was 5:20. i'm hoping maybe they'll open more time slots at the 30 day mark

Same here. I've tried several times to get a later PS at CRT (currently 5:45) for our June trip. So fare 5:45 is the latest seating available.

I noticed that you and I will be there the same week in May. I had a rough time getting PS made for dinners. Everything was booked completely or had seatings before 5pm. This and my inability to get a room at WL is making me slightly nervous about the 2nd week in May in terms of crowds.

I know usually the later seatings open up after the 30 day mark....however, I called this week and checked and still nothing has openned for May 1 or 2 for late seatings at MGM. If anyone gets a later seating, please post. I'm still holding 5:50PM at 50PT, but the CM said that MGM is open until 9:30PM

Yesterday, I tried to get a PS for a party of 5 for dinner there for May 5, 6, or 9 and the were none available. I ended up getting one at 2:30 PM for lunch.

The later times are usually made available somewhere between 30 days and 3 weeks before the date. Another thing to keep in mind for those who will be there on the days surrounding May 5 is that the parks will be closing early (different parks on different evenings ) on the days leading up to May 5 for press events to promote all the new attractions that are opening for the 50 year celebration.

Hey, don't knock those early PS times. We had a few the last trip and ended up LOVING them. We just have a snack early afternoon, treat the early PS as a lunch/dinner combo and have a late snack if still hungry. It ended up being really convienent and saving us money. The kids were in better moods at dinner too and the break came at the perfect time.

i have had no problems booking any of my ps for May 1-8 . I called last week to move some around we are eating around 5:40- 6:10. I have one everyday booked. when I wanted to change around the days they told me a few of my restaurant choices were wide open and I could book anywhere from 5-9. That is so weird for you all to be having problems. I cant think that in a week all the ps are gone .

I am going the end of May and couldn't get PS for any of the MK restaurants past 5 pm. I, too, am hoping they open up more times later in the evening. The CM told me yesterday that the CP closes at 6 all week that I am there. I don't see why when the park closes at 10.

We'll be arriving on May 8th and managed to snag a 5:40 PS at Chef Mickey's. I've been calling almost daily to move it back about an hour with no luck either.
I did not know about Disney releasing more slots within 30 days so I'll just keep calling.

I had booked a dinner PS at CRT about 45 days before our 4/16 arrival. The latest i could get was 4:40...I just assumed that later hours were booked.
I called back just last week and was able to get 6:25 which is much better for us. Don't know if someone cancelled or if they opened up more hours...but my advice is to keep trying.

I tried to get a 6:30pm PS at Mama Melrose for June 5th and the latest I could get was 4:40pm!! And it's an EMH night so the park is open until 1am...LOL....I'll keep trying

You and I are in the same boat! I have a 4:20 pm for Mama Melrose on May 8th for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I tried calling today (it is 29 days out for me now) to see if anything later had opened up yet. Was told by the CM that nope - nothing later, but she has already had several people calling today to see if anything later has opened up!! Great minds think alike, I suppose Guess I'll just try again tomorrow, then the day after that, then the day after that. . . . . . . .

We have had luck 3-4 weeks in advance. Keep trying!
