How much were those tickets? Would an annual pass have been cheaper? I don't know anything about the new ticketing but an annual pass would have been cheaper than an 8 day Park Hopper Plus.

Just got mine too! Just got my 10 day tickets from Ticketmania.com they were the same price as the 7 days from what I saw I waited and waited but its the best price I saw for them. We were going to get a 7 day but then I said hey its like the same price and free shipping!!! :cool1: My countdown is on. Only 32 days till I start making my PS's ::MinnieMo :mickeybar

I must be missing something because I just looked on the Ticketmania website. It lists for the 7 day Park hopper that expires:
7 Day Magic Your Way Adult Ages 10+
Expiry with Park Hopping Gate $249.21 Discount $234.

Now I have the DisneyStore phamplet in front of me that has the 7 day Park Hopper that expires listed @237.50 including tax <223.00 before tax>

Am I looking at the wrong thing at TicketMania? I'm buying 7 tickets <3 age 10+ and 4 3-9> so I'd buy from Ticketmania if it was cheaper! Help!! :confused3

I think the annual passes are around $420 for an adult and $360 for a child. The 8 day tix cheaper than that- even if you get no expiry. So don't worry Ken Skellington- you did good.

Ticketmania is really a great company- I have used them and will do so again.

The price I got was thru the Mousesavers.com newletter you have to sign up to get the good Ticketmania.com prices- we are asked not to post the price or the link  sorry but I got the 10 day premium with hopping and water parks, Disney Quest stuff 5 extra days its like a 15 day ticket ! ::MinnieMo

chris, ticketmania is the cheapest. What you might possibly be looking at is: disney price for hopper vs. ticketmania for hopper and plus. double check again because I just priced them and ticketmania was cheaper. Premium means hopper and plus.

Thanks CheapMom! I used the discount from Mary's newsletter too so I saved a few extra bucks as well. We debated long and hard over which tix to buy and we finally went with Ticketmania! Yea!!! Can't beat those prices! Got any email follow-up saying they would be hear by the 21st of April - I am hoping for sooner...

I just bought tickets from undercovertourist.com, After checking many sites they were the cheapest, I got a 10 day premium (park hopper & no expiration) + 5 pluses (water parks & Disney Quest) for $362.00 (inc. all taxes) + free shipping.

I was very pleased with my Ticketmania order. The tickets were prompt, shipping was free, and they sent the tickets with a pile of all those Orlando magazines with all the coupons. Even if I don't use a single coupon, it was fun just to look through them, but there were a lot of coupons in them, so we may well end up using several.

Just a warning: I bought 4 10 day hoppers from Ticketmainia and was pleased with the price, promptness, etc. We will probably upgrade them to APs once we are there. If we do, we will have to pay the difference between the AP price and WHAT TICKETMANIA PAID FOR THE TICKETS. So, we'll have to pay Ticketmania's mark up twice. I have no idea if I'll break even or lose money, but I have a feeling that this was one time where I should have purchased from Disney.

It wont have helped you in this case to have bought from ticketmania but in the end it still should just cost you the same as if you had bought straight from disney. You might even save the tiniest bit on taxes. since you would be paying the difference from your purchase price and the full price of the ap and I would guess but not sure you would pay the tax on the difference? I guess they could charge you tax on the whole price again, but I doubt it.

I bought tickets from Alamo and when I upgraded at WDW I paid the difference on what I paid for the tickets not what Alamo paid (unless Alamo was selling them for cost) Hopefully it will be the same for you.

I ordered mine last wed or thursday, we got 2 adult 1 child 8 day park hoppers with expirations for $640. The 8 day tickets were actually $1 cheaper than the 7 day tickets :confused3 ! For only $10 more I could get a 10 hopper with expiry, so it has me thinking :rolleyes1 ....

Thankfully DD is still under the age requirement, so she gets in free. I haven't gotten my tickets yet, but I'm eager to see what else they throw in the envelope. Someone earlier said that they threw in coupons, etc for the Orlando area.

and I have $300 saved too!! :teeth:

I really want to have a good time in Oct!! :smooth:

I'm buying my tickets tomorrow from Ticketmania...I'm a bit nervous, but excited!! I do have a question though; does the expiration time start the first day that I enter the parks? Also, do I have to activate the tickets when I get to DW? Thanks!

Thank you!! You are right, I was looking at the wrong one!

Ticketmania is getting confusing or something. For mousesavers the 9 day loaded ticket is cheaper than the 8 day and the 10 day is cheaper than both of them. That doesn't sound like the people buying 8 or 9 day tickets are getting a deal. What gives?

the 7 and 10 day mousesaver prices were lowered to be lower than someone else. but the werent going to lower everything.

Then maybe people shouldn't buy the 8 or 9 day loaded tickets from them
