Just bought Tix from Ticketmania!!!

We got the 8 day premium passes with expiration because we will be using most (if not all 5) of the plusses. Also, we wanted the flexability to hop between the parks. It was still a good deal for us, since we are not planning on a return trip and will use all of the days - even if we just pop in and out of a park. For us, the convenience of a 8 day premium ticket appealed to us and why get a 9 or 10 day with an expiration when we will only be there for 8 days? Ticketmania was the only site to offer 8 & 9 day passes and we didn't want to wait until we arrive to purchase tickets. Anyway, we got a good deal and maybe ticketmania isn't for everybody - for us "newbies", though, we only felt safe going with a Mousesavers recommended broker. I hope our tickets arrive soon!

Me too.

I was so close to ordering from the Disney web site. I had selected my tickets, had the final price calculated, and was ready to just finish the transaction, and noticed that the site had changed.
One now must register, and they want my birth date.
Every time a site makes me do this, I get to order 1x only, as I can never remember the password, and do not want the hassle related to having them reset it for me. If the password is tied to the email, I can't just set up a new account. So as a result, I never get to order from these places more then once. I didn't see an option for ordering without setting up an account, on the Disney page. That is when I started looking elsewhere.
Then I saw that ticketmania was cheaper then the Disney site.

Why would Disney sell for more (even with the on-line discount) then ticketmania? It makes no sense, but I saved over $12 per ticket. Their own discount, for advance purchase, is now so small.

I hesitated, it is an awful lot of money to take a risk with (I bought two 10 day no expire, park hoppers, to use over multiple trips in the next 2 years).
At $34 per day, this seems like the best deal.

I have a question , On tiketmania through the Mouse saver link

there is a parkhopper with plus with expiration

and a premium park hopper with plus with expiration.
on the 10 day adult
what is the Premium ?

Thanks Jack

Expiry
No Expiry
Expiry with Park Hopping
No Expiry with Park Hopping
Expiry with Magic Plus (5 Visits)
No Expiry with Magic Plus (5 Visits)
Expiry Premium with Park Hopping & Magic Plus (5 Visits)
No Expiry Premium with Park Hopping & Magic Plus (5 Visits)

That was cut and pasted from that link, under the 10 day adult section. premium is just meaning all that it is both the hopping and the plusses. as you can see there isnt another option that included them both.

We ordered on April 4th, so it took about two weeks to receive them from Ticketmania. Lots of cool info. about Orlando etc. & they even photocopies our tickets for us, very handy! Just curious, though, do all of the tickets look the same? We have never been to WDW before and I was wondering if all tickets (hoppers, premiums, etc.) look the same? We got one Minnie and one Mickey! We ordered the 8-day Premiums.

So glad to have them-- :cool1:

We got 4 so we have Minnie, Mickey, Donald & Goofy we just will give one character to each- :earsgirl: I get minnie!

I ordered from the other one listed in the mousesaver email, Discount Orlando Vacations. The way I figured it they were a little cheaper. I got 10 day hopper no expiration. THEY CAME TODAY!!!! :cool1: Nothing else in the envelope though, I'm bummed about that. I love looking at brochures and coupon books. They did include a copy they made of the backs of the tickets though. It was kind of funny, the FedEx guy said he went to Disney at Easter and we stood on the porch and talked about his trip for a while.

Ok Well this is probably a dumb  questions, but here goes.......

I bought (2 Adlt- 1 Chld) 7 day hopper passes last Oct 04. I have since decided to take a niece and was looking at DIS for some purchase ideas and I am reading that you can buy expire or non expire tickets.

Is this new? I thought when I bought these tickets they never expired. I am looking at the back of my tickets and it has no expire dates, but doesnt say they dont expire either. :confused3

11 days until I meet Mickey :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I must be missing something because I just looked on the Ticketmania website. It lists for the 7 day Park hopper that expires:
7 Day Magic Your Way Adult Ages 10+
Expiry with Park Hopping Gate $249.21 Discount $234.

Now I have the DisneyStore phamplet in front of me that has the 7 day Park Hopper that expires listed @237.50 including tax <223.00 before tax>

Am I looking at the wrong thing at TicketMania? I'm buying 7 tickets <3 age 10+ and 4 3-9> so I'd buy from Ticketmania if it was cheaper! Help!! :confused3

Chris,
When I figured out prices, the Disney site was cheaper than ticketmania too. What am I missing, just the discount from the newsletter?

Do I have to wait until next month on the 15th to get a code for a better price? I signed up for the newsletter referred to, but missed the last deadline. We are going in June and I really don't want to wait until May 15 just to see what their deal is. Plus it is cutting it too close to our trip in early June. What do you think anyone?

I ordered my tickets yesterday form Ticketmania. 3 adult, 1 child 10 day premium tickets (no expiration, plus pack and park hoppping) for $1398.00 total.

I just went to the Disney site and the price for the same tickets is $1567.58, for a difference of $169.00.

This was using the Mousesavers link.

Using Ticketmania without the Mousesavers link, the price is $1474.00.

Definitely worth it to me.

The difference between ticketmania and disney is in the tax and shipping. Ticketmania tax is already included, and there is no shipping. SO even though the 7day base ticket is priced at 200at ticketmania verses 199 at disney, it actually saves you about 11.94 per adult ticket. I'm not sure about disney's shipping/handling charges. Mousesavers newsletter gets you a bit better. Not enough to stress over, although something went on with those 10 day premiums - i think mousesavers gets you a GOOD discount on those.

The tickets you purchased last year were not Magic Your Way tickets. They were regular park hopper tickets, and hence DO NOT expire. You're okay!

and the mousesavers' link only comes out on the 15th of the month? I signed up last month on the 16th! just missed it! So is it worth waiting for the discount? We are going early June and I am wondering if I will save enough to wait until May 15? :confused3

what kind of tickets are you getting? They can send the tickets directly to the hotel. not sure how that works if you arent already at the hotel. I had put in an order but cancelled it when I decided to get a package with disney. It took like a week before they were going to ship them but they might ship quicker if need be. Try calling them and telling them you signed up for the mousesavers newsletter but dont have it yet but are worried about them getting here in time if you wait for the next newsletter.
