Just to let anyone know they are still offering the Free Annual Passes at DL if you purchase DVC.
We took the plunge and bought this past week after a couple of years of going back and forth on it.
Was nice to do all the paper work right then and there .. walked out with everything, temp cards paperwork and the Tote bag!

The Annual passes were for Premium DL or Premium WDW. Of course we took WDW! (saves us having to renew this yr!)

Can't wait to go!

Kerry

Congratulations and :welcome: Home :goodvibes

We did the same thing last month and I will be exchanging my tickets for WDW passes too in September :thumbsup2

:cheer2: Congratulations and Welcome Home! :cheer2:

We also bought DVC over at DL last Jan. We actually just got back from our first trip home 2 days ago........SSR is beautiful!!! About the Annual passes, if you use it at DL then it'll be premium AP but if you'll use it at WDW it'll be just a regular annual pass.

Thinking of buying AKV DVC when we stay at AKL in Sept. We are in Calif. and closer to DL. Didn't know we could purchase AKV DVC at DL. What's the difference between a premium AP and a regular AP? Is that the only benefit for us to purchase at DL instead of WDW?

Premium AP at WDW includes water parks, disney quest, DTD pleasure island, disneys wide world of sports while at DL Premium AP means no block out dates. Not sure what the benefits are when you buy at WDW. For us, we decided to go to WDW twice this year just to use most out of our free APs (luckily we got free airmiles to cover both trips).

We have premium APs at both DLR, and WDW. The biggest difference, is that the DLR passes have a ton load more perks than the WDW AP. More discounts etc.

Does anyone know if the free APs apply to SSR and AKV -- or is it only for SSR? Also, would it be for first-time purchasers or could you receive them if you are an existing member buying an additional contract? Last but not least, was the price per point discounted as well, or was that the trade-off for the free APs?

The passes came with either SSR or AKL.
The discount was 10.00 off for SSR and 8 for AKL.
We also got Dec 2006 user yr. So just banked all those points when we got home. I believe the AKL was March 2007 user yr.

Thanks Kerry. :goodvibes

Hmmm -- kind of makes me wish I was headed to DLR instead of WDW! :car:

Sorry but I think I've got some pixie dust in my brain. What is DL ? :rolleyes1

This is Julie not Johnny

I just signed my paperwork for AKV this past week. We did not sit through nor go on any of the tours prior to purchase. So, my question to you is is the AP for WDW always offered as an incentive for DVC new members? SHould I call my sales person and inquire about it?????

We also bought at Disneyland last month and received the 2 free AP's. I bought AKV though because I love Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!

I'll probably just turn in my AP vouchers for Disneyland. My family already has 15 days of non-expiry tickets for WDW and those will last us a while since we don't do parks everyday during our trips.

We go to Disneyland every other week so we'll get more use out of the Disneyland AP's. I have a while to think about it though since the vouchers don't need to be turned in until June 2008.
