Because the DVC Sorcerer Pass is currently $1170.44, I was told that you can only use $1000 of a gift card and the rest had to be on another payment type or call into Member Services. I'm call adverse, so I tried something else. 
It was true that the system did not have a second Disney gift card payment area. However, there is a "Disney Rewards Redemption Card" payment area, so I entered my regular Target-purchased Disney gift card into that area... and it worked! Just thought I'd share that tip in case it wasn't known that you can do that.
