Just Bought OKW

Just sent in our docs for OKW! Now we have to wait for ROFR.

How long do we have to wait????

Your broker should notify you when the contract is sent to Disney for ROFR. They have 30 days to either purchase the contract or waive their right. Your broker should notify you once they hear back from DVC about the ROFR. With my first re-sale (pre-3/20) it took 28 days. With my current resale, I am at 29 days today and still have not heard! Here is a little pixie dust for both of us:

Looks like we will be neighbors! We're really excited to finally be doing this. We've talked about it for years and finally decided we might as well do it! Now we can't wait to get it done! Waiting is a killer!

We just got our points at OKW in the system. From start to finish was 52 days.

Ours went to ROFR Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. I am trying to patiently wait as well. I haven't been contacted from the Title co, but I see where they charged my card for the deposit..... good luck to you!

We love OKW! Stayed there a few times with family members. Our other favorite is AKL. But couldn't pass on the good deal for OKW.

Need to check to see if my credit card was charged for the deposit.

Our OKW contract was sent for ROFR on 4/20 and we received notification on 5/2 that we passed. Hope you hear good news soon!!
