Glad I could help!

It's been sat in my Favourites folder for ages... You've all encouraged me to buy one too now!

Though, my partner keeps telling me how silly it is to spend money on something which you're going to use to save money in :rotfl:

xx

See I think it's going to inspire me to save lol! Because everytime I see it I will be reminded of Disney and just want to throw money in to it! Hahahaha

My pot just arrived :) woohoo! It is perfect I only wish it was bigger! Oh well it will encourage me to fill it quicker so I can buy another!!

YAYAY ! I just bought one for £16.79 with free shipping too.

BTW it's only that price till midnight tonight as it has 20% off after night the discount ends

I was just wondering if you've received your pot yet. I ordered one the same day as you and I haven't received mine yet!
TIA :goodvibes

Thanks, I'll go ahead and give them a call. I figured that I should have received it by now! :goodvibes

ETA I phoned and the lady said that it has shipped last Fri and it should take 3-5 working days to get here. I hope that it hasn't ended up a someone else's house!

Now the saving really starts. Trouble is when for oct 2015 or apr/may 2016
My daughter starts secondary school sept 2016 do need to go b4.
My children will b 3 years 6 months, 5 & 11 in 2015 will waiting a few months make much diff for rides

So you 'bought' a pot to put saved money in?

I must confess - saving was more important so I found these in Poundland (oddly enough for £1!)

They are Disney themed and fully sealed so you cannot open without a tin opener!

I know that the temptation to open them may be increased as they cost less but I have some self discipline and would prefer the £15 head start by buying a cheaper saving pot!

Worth looking out for if you have a poundland!

Ps- no idea why image is upside down but you can get the idea!

Lol yes many if not all on this thread have bought a pot to save money in.
For me having a Disney fund pot was quite exciting its on top of my fire place and it reminds me everytime I see it that I'm saving for my trip :)

Well our Terramundi is almost full, probably only another week and we wont be able to squeeze any more in. We've only put £2 coins in so it'll be interesting to see how much is in there. We've decided not to open it yet as we're not going to WDW till Oct 2014 so that we're not tempted to "dip" into the savings. I've also bought 6 of those Disney tin can in Poundland that actually only cost me 99p each :confused3 so we'll just keep on saving the £2 coins until it's time to pay for the trip :goodvibes:goodvibes

Ours is half way full, :) never thought I'd put anything in it lmao so I'm quite impressed, all our £2 coins go in it so that averages about £6 a week plus we always put any £s or 50ps we have at the end of each week in it!
We also managed to put around £20 in notes in so I'm very happy, we also have a couple of the pound land ones for when this gets filled so we can keep on saving our spending money or use it for flights, :)

You know this is a great idea! I only tend to do it for a couple of months but on monday when I get paid I am getting a christmas fund and a holiday fund. We have both said £5 a week each in both minimum plus and £2 coins we get. We already have £220 from topcash back but that is for christmas.
Its so nice to be organised and by putting just a small amount away gives a nice surprise when the pots are opened.
Any news on ur move yet Cindy?

Exactly, and honestly if its in the bank it gets spent lol!!
Much better to be somewhere I can't get into it, else I dip in and say ill pop it back later ( never happens)

Well the move!hmmmmm lol
Ian put in for Virginia beach, and we are having a few issues Ian's work would love to either keep him on ( not happening he hates it he is an intel analyst but at the moment he is a intel instructor for phase 2 trainees ) although he loves teaching he prefers being in the field so to say,

Also they have just told him about an amazing job offer in the UK, I want out but it's something he would love to do,
Plus if we wait until August he can have Las Vegas, which actually we would all love.
So we have some decisions to make, ones that are driving me up the wall as I just want to know where ill be living at the end of the yr and then I can book Disney :)
Plus if we don't do the move this year, we defiantly have to do it in 2015/16 as we have been in the UK for 11 years of his career without an over seas posting. Xx

A huge decision for you all and living on a knifes edge is not good for the nerves:faint: Las vegas sounds amazing but I suppose if DH would be happy with this other job offer in the UK then its a hard one. I would be like you. If I didnt have my mom and DD dad here I would be gone.
