I can't believe it! Jus tbought my first pair of Crocs and WOW!!!! Today is the first day I have worn them, have them on at work....WOW!! It is like being in heaven, they feel GREAT!!! :cool1:

Had to buy white to wear in the office but am heading out ASAP to buy a coloured pair! :goodvibes

Me too! I bought my first pair yesterday and I'm lovin them!

Yea for you! I hopped on the Croc train in 2004!!! These have been the BEST shoes for DH and me at WDW! No issues whatsoever! I was just looking at some new ones last night. DH said I have to buy a colorful pair and stop just going with black. I might have to bend and get the blue/green ones. I already wore one pair out!

Ok, so everyone is raving about Crocs. I finally try them on in the Hallmark store. I wear a size 5. The XS was too big. So today I went to a local mall and saw some children's Crocs and tried them on. They are way too wide for my feet and I definitely do not have narrow feet. I even had crew socks on. I haven't heard anyone else talk about this and I know my feet are even on the wide side.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks!

No problem here. I know that they do run big but my foot is so wide I can give Donald Duck a run for his money. :donald: I have the flip flop style (Nile) and love them. Look forward to wearing them out in July!

Ok, ok... you got my attention! After seeing several posts about CROCS...I'm thinking "Why are they soooo popular??". Personnally, they don't seem that comfy but I have to say I never tried one. Don't you guys get sweaty feet in those???

1st of all let me say I HATE that they are so ugly!! :rotfl2:

But, yes, they are wide, again, WIDE = UGLY :rotfl2: but because of the resin they use (The Chicago Tribune wrote a story on them Sunday) it will "Mold" to your foot, because of the heel bed, it is like a custom orthotic... and because of the resin has some special antibacterial qualities to it, it doesnt hold the smell other plastic shoes will - but gosh darn it they are UGLY! :rotfl2:

Last year at WDW a whole family had yellow and ORANGE crocs, they looked like a DUCK Family!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I also had to throw away my first pair of crocs - they werent feeling all that great - and I turned them over and sure enough you could see how the bottom of the heel was definately well worn compared to my "fall color" crocs!!

and on crocs.com I saw they have croc butter for $5 - it helps retain that beautiful shine!!

GO CROCS!!! :rotfl2:

Myself, my DW and three of our DS's all got Crocs over the weekend for our June trip. They are great!!!!!! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

I got my first pair of Crocs about two weeks ago after reading their praises here. I ended up with sage green since there weren't any lime green in my size.

I tried them out for two days at the Bristol drag races that same weekend and then this past Saturday at Dollywood and I gotta say they're great. Saw lots of other Crocs at Dollywood, too. I also picked up some CoolMax ankle socks at Target and they work very well with the Crocs. The socks don't slide around, and they dried quickly after water rides at Dollywood.

The biggest plus was that my legs didn't hurt at the end of the day, which usually happens even with my Birkenstocks.

:cool1:

I just got some too! I can't wait for my next day off so that I can wear them all day. They are wide but comfy. I guess they are not supposed to hug the sides of your feet.

Another Crocs newbie here! Just bought hot pink Caymans at Nordstroms before our WDW trip. They are terriffic! I did have a little trouble with the heel strap rubbing after a full day of walking and a little rubbing on one toe. I found that alternating between the Crocs and my SAS nubuck tri-pad comfort sandles was the best solution.

As far as fitting too big...they are supposed to fit big. Check out their website at www.crocs.com and they will tell you your foot should not touch the shoe on all sides. It seems wierd, but ends up being very comfortable. I wear a 7WW and ended up getting an 8 in the Caymans. The Beach style does not work for me because the Small is too small and the Medium is too big. I need the exact size offered with Cayman. They are harder to find, but are the same price...$29.99, even at Nordstroms.

I also saw the article in the Chicago Trib...the headline said "Crocs Rock!"

To all you Croc Newbies--let me say--YOU WILL get hooked on these shoes. I bought my first UGLY Crocs last year before our WDW trip in May. Hated how they looked--loved how they felt. I now have 3 PAIR, DS10 has 3 pair and we just bought grandma her first pair for our trip in 12 days!!!

Let me warn you again: YOU WILL GET HOOKED!!!

I can't do it. I have had them in my hands on numerous occations and can't pull the trigger. They are so ugly. :)

Got my first pair today (khaki Beach), and outfitted them with the turbo strap, in black. I love 'em so far, and I think the strap was a wise investment. It seems a lot more comfortable, and holds them on to my feet better, too. They somehow look a little better, too, since they aren't so monochromatic.

I ordered the orange turbo strap to go with the navy crocs I have.

Just back from a week at WDW and wore Crocs exclusively (as far as shoes go :teeth: ). No blisters, no pain, etc. I wear them daily at work but seldom do that much walking so it was a great experiment.

I want to order a pair for my daughter ( :earsgirl: 14) over the internet. Do you get the normal shoe size she wears. She wears a ladies 7 if that matters. She wants the beach kind. Any thoughts on if I need to go up a size or not?

The only bad thing I can say about Crocs is once you wear them, you won't want to wear anything else on your feet! I was a Birkenstock fan for years, but the Crocs are sooo much more comfortable!

shhhhh.....I have four pairs! :cheer2:
