Just bought my first "big girl" Purchase!

I bought my first big girl purchase yesterday! A 2011 Chevy Malibu! Just wanted to share my happiness, I haven't had a car since June so I am very happy.

The perfect thing is, is my first payment isn't due until January!! And we are going to Disney begining of December so that will be perfect to not have a car payment until after we return!!

My niece and her husband just bought one and they love it! They have a new baby and its perfect for the carseat and all the baby cargo. Last I heard, her in-laws were going to buy one, too.

Congrats! Keep in mind that although you may not need to make a payment 'til January, you are starting to accrue interest on your account now. They never "give you" those months as a gift; it's money in their pocket. So it'd be smart to make a voluntary payment in November and December -- right now, while your principle balance is at its highest point, it'll make a big difference in what you'll pay back in the long run.
