Just bought into BCV and can't wait to see the look on the kid's face when they finally get to see Disney.

This may be the wrong forum, if it please inform me, thanks.

HAs anyone been to Mickeys Not-so-scary-halloween? How is it and when/how long does this event last?

Would like to stay at BCV but the only ressies I could get for 2 brs was Nov. 2. Does Mickeys NSSH typically last through this first week? Disney said the schedule will be out in the summer, but I can't see it being too different than past years.

thanks

I haven't been to it but last year's dates for MNSSHP were Oct. 11, 17, 20, 25, 27, 31 & Nov. 1.

I went last year to the Nov 1 MNSSHP; it was enjoyable, and as far as I know the only opportunity to see the Halloween parade! I would be surprised if it were available on Sun Nov 2 this year, possibly not even Sat Nov 1. Maybe you should put yourself on a waitlist for an earlier stay if you really want to see this.

I went the last two years and found it more enjoyable in mid October than on Halloween itself. It was very crowded on Halloween. I think it was Nov.1 last year and Nov. 2 the year before for the last day.

Don't have answer to your question, just wanted to say Congratulations and Welcome Home!!!

Thanks for all the info. It appears that it would most likely end on the Friday of the week Halloween was in, according to the posts. I did get put on a waitlist for BCV.

thanks again.

We went last year. We are adults, but we wore costumes. A lot of adults didn't wear costumes, but most of the kids did. It was OK, although I found the lines for the candy looked long. We didn't get in any candy lines...we figured save that for the kids. The Headless Horseman was awesome. The parade was cute. It's basically an E-Night where people are dressed up.

Welcome Home!! - I just love saying that. :teeth:

I went to MNSSHP in 2001 and Mickey's Christmas Party in 2000, have to say the Christmas Party is better, but the Halloween party is definatel fun. I would agree w/ the comment that it's "basically an E-Night where people are dressed up."

I attended halloween night and the crowd wasn't that bad. (walked onto Space Mountain.. and man that is a long walk!!) It is a limited ticket event, so I'm assuming the crowds would never reach anything like they do during the busy days.

Good luck on getting the days you want, I know you and the little ones will have fun!

and once again... WELCOME HOME!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

okay this party is at MK - so while stay at BCV - now if you were doing Epcot then yes definitely stay at BCV - but for MNSSHP I would stay at VWL.

Congratulations and Welcome Home!

We went last year and had great fun!! The night we went the crowds were very light (have no idea if that was typical or not). But we were the only (and I mean only -- take any seat in any boat only) guests on Pirates; had the upper deck bow seat to ourselves on the Riverboat; had semi-private Jungle Cruise, etc. Lots of people dressed in costumes, also many not. Parade and headless horseman was very good.

Will do it again. Here is link to more information:
