Closed on SSR contract yesterday. Had to sell due to divorce. Today called my old guide and bought into AKV.

Had planned on buying at VWL but he talked me out of it. Hopefully I got a good deal.

I am curious. Did you get 270 developer points and the $8 discount for buying 200 points? We are looking at closing on Sunday but have only been offered 160 developer points with the $8 discount for buying 250 points. Just wanted to double check to make sure we have a good offer.

Yes. My guide told me I was receiving the same deal any existing DVC member would get. My previous loan balance was paid off that day so I guess they decided to treat me as an existing member. I really was suprised I assumed I would be treated as a new DVC member.

Weird. I didn't have any problem breaking my contracts into 50 pts each when they offered the double develper point promotion, but anyway Welcome Back Home!

When did you buy in? He specifically said I could not break the contract into 50 points. He said I could do a 160/40. Told me the initial contract "has to be 160".

Not good for me if you could do it.
