Just bought atkts for Dec.2008 !

Hello all...thanks to the DLRP board I ended up booking a trip to DLRP last year...and after reading so many wonderful things on the UK board for WDW..and wanting to go so bad.....I finally booked and charged my credit card 4 atkts from Venice to Orlando via Frankfurt.
From Sunday Dec.14th 2008 until Thursday Jan1st 2009 !!!

I was debating if waiting or not any special prices but it's a risk I don't want to take..so I simply bought them as well as cancellation insurance.( just in case).

The price for 2 adults and 2 children in Economy ( ) is €2741 ( about £2000).

I guess my Dh will have to stand a long year of my DIS board research !!

The first night I think that we will stay at the Hyatt at the Airport , and then for 3 or maybe 4 nights at the Contemporary Resort, ( or maybe split with the Dolphin...I still have to decide.... and from the 18th DEc we have booked a villa ( thank you JohhnySharp ) in Indian Creek until the 1st of Jan...

I now I am dedicating myself to find info about the car rental, about best prices also for insurance. I read on this board about insurance4carhire.com so now I'm figuring that out !

I always wanted to take my daughters to WDW , and if I would not have found this wonderful board..read the wonderful TR and have seen the photos......I'm positive this would not be happining this year.!!

Sounds lovely. We used Airline Network for car hire (all inclusive rates) - another tip from Wayne on this forum - they were the best priced for our trip in October.

(ps have seen the villa johnny recommended - it was booked for when we wanted to go - by you from the look of it!!!)

Ooops !!!! ..Sorry !!and I thought that I was booking WAY to far in advance. I would have never thought of booking a 5 BR villa, but the villa looked great and the with Johhny's advice for it I knew it was perfect...TO be honest I had seen the villa way back in July or Aug when he mentioned it on a post...I saved the link and "dreamed " that one day we would go there...


When are you going ? Have you found a villa ? My other choice was a 3 BR villa in Windsor Hills, called Wishes.It had a splash pool, but the villa itself with the rooms and decoration looked wonderful. If you wish I can send you the link.

We have stayed at a 3br TH at WH & this is free - as we were thinking of 3 weeks there I had thought a villa with pool might have been better - but I have yet to book any flights.
