We are so excited. We got an awesome deal on a 1996 jayco pop-up and we are ready to camp again!! We have a kitchen !!! and air !! We are long time tent campers so it is bitter sweet on the new wheels and missing our Jeep tent. But Yahoo! ofcourse the trailer needs a little tlc but by may we will be up and running to visit the fort!

Just needed to share my excitement!!

Oh and any tips on pop ups would really be welcome

Rog - I wish you were close I would sell you my Jayco 1999 PUP at a very reasonable price, it is in EXCELLENT condition. We just purchased a new 22ft hybrid and haven't had a chance to use it yet. We have ressies at the Fort in April. I hope we get to break it in before our Disney trip.

I don't want to sell to just anyone - I love my PUP!!

Sounds like a road trip to me....who's bringin the beer?

I didn't see the inside of Christy's but the outside was nice. Sorry, but the one's on Craigslist aren't even close to Christy's. You'd have to drag her's thru a battlezone to get it looking like those.

I dunno, I was wondering the same thing! I posted my wanted ad in the Atlanta Craig's List because that was the closest really big city to us. I just assumed all big cities would have a lot of them too but when I checked around...there just wasn't any like in Atlanta. Go figure?!

Christy's looks like it doesn't need any lovin' to make it pretty at all, you might want to go with that one!

Cindy....I actually HAVE a portable A/C already....I got it last May for our Tent trip to the fort...it cost me well over $300...I wish I had known about the $139 deals!!! Heck, I have small window units that cost almost that much.

Yep, it burned my britches that I got a "steal" at $275 and several weeks later, there it was for $139, ARGGGH!

I hope the Pop Up Fairy flies by your house soon and surprises you with a really good deal! You never know when a good deal will pop up, I was shocked when mine appeared. Good Luck!

Rog, I'm telling you that camper is worth every penny and more she's asking. If I had it to spare I'd be pulling out of here to go get it. I would've never thought when I saw it last year it was a 98. I honestly thought it was maybe a year or 2 old. They must keep it indoors.

I know what she means when she says she hates to see it go. When I was cleaning out my Tailgator when I traded it I started thinking of all the fun times we had in it and the 1st fort trip we did. whaaaaaaaaaaaaa I want my old camper back lol. Whoever get's it is gonna be lucky.

Theres a whole lot to be considered when it comes to purchasing a WELL used 20 year old camper and a well loved newer model.

Remember Rog,,sometimes you can get a good deal, but the rule is , you get what you pay for.
