....2 bed villa at OKW with 14 day Ultimates and free DDP.

It's booked through Disney.

Which building would you request? We (ideally) would like:

quiet room
near a pool
near Hospitality House
near a bus stop

in that order.....

the low numbers are near HH. If you are near HH you are near a pool. But it's the main pool and it's not quiet. If you want a quiet pool and a quiet location ask for one near Turtle Shack but not too far from the bus stop.

I thought the DVC members got first choice over accommodation (I hope that's true as I am a DVC member and going in August) so maybe asking for Turtle Shack stands you more chance of getting what you want as near HH is supposed to be the most popular request.

Hi,

Members booking on points have the option to secure a room around HH when making their reservation that's of course if one is still available as this seems to be the most requested option at OKW.

We've managed to make one points booking with a guarantee that we would be close to HH but that was making the reservation some 10-months out from arrival, on the other occasions that we've tried there's been no availability around HH.

Last Oct-Nov we took advantage and booked directly with Disney a 1-bed at OKW with free dining and made a request to be near to HH and the main pool, but we ended up at check-in with a choice of 2-buildings, none of which was near to HH. We choose building 37 which was near to the pool at Turtle Shack.

Buildings 56, 19 and 44 are some of the nearest to a quite pool and bus stop.

Thanks. My main priority is somewhere quiet - I like the look of 45 and 46 if being near to HH is unlikely.

We stayed early december 2008 and asked for near main area and was in building 25.This was a studio.Great location just over the bridge golf course view right by a bus stop. I have requested this area again as will be great for my mom who has walking difficulties.Glad you mananged to book. We were renting dvc points last time so maybe thats why we got that block

We stayed in a studio in block 42 near the turtle pond pool. Would stay there again.

We loved being a few steps from the beautiful pool and there was a snack hut for drink refils etc open in the afternoons. Nice and quiet.

Disadvantage it is a way from hospitality house and the main pool. We tried the main pool once but preferred turtle pond pool (my DD didn't want to go on the slide)

You can easily get a bus from the turtle pond area to hospitality house though.
