Am off to DLP on 24th Sept...two nights, surprise trip for the oh. Any tips? Fab restaurants you can recommend?

thats great i hope you have a wonderful trip

We haven't been before...been to DW a bunch of times though so going to get my fix....at this late stage the only availability they had was at Davy Crockett which seems ok...i hope...

Are you driving? I don't think there are shuttles from DCR although I could be wrong! :goodvibes

What sort of budget are you planning - one of my favourite restaurants is Rainforest Cafe, I prefer to go there over any of the really expensive places just because of the theming - same for Blue Lagoon, must visit on every trip :rotfl:

That's great, hope you have a fab time :thumbsup2

We just stayed at davy crockett in August and loved it! Had a 2 bed premium cabin which was lovely and very new, it's only 5-10 mins from the park by car and very easy to find :)

We're renting a car which should be interesting...if you've been before would you recommend renting a quad cycle and how much are they

Everyone knows that I love Walts and the quick lunch is great value and a chance to experience the restaurant without losing too much park time. :thumbsup2

We visited at the end of September last year for DH's birthday and had a fab time, weather was goregous! We ate at the Steakhouse in the Village and Inventions which were both lovely. :goodvibes

I have read good reviews of Blue Lagoon which is supposed to be very romantic, and if money is no object, California Grill in DLH is the best fine dining at the resort, not that I have had the chance to try it - yet!! ;)
