I have just made a booking but I have a few questions that hopefully someone here can help me with :).

How do you book the preferred fireworks viewing - do I call the 0870 number - and when can you book it - is it 180 days in advance?

The package extras include EARmails Service - what is this?

Thanks.

I don't think you book it.

We jsut got a voucher in our welcome pack thing and then you take that with you the day of the fireworks you want to see adn they let you into the area. We never used it though.

Just dug out vouchers from last August, we didn't use them as we read the firework viewing at Mk is a bad spot and at Epcot we don't need preferred, quiet where we stand.

It says on the voucher ring in advance to book, if in UK 0870 24 24 900 then option 4. If already in your resort ring 407-939-7718 reservation required at least 24 hours in advance.
So not sure if you can just turn up or not, I guess if they have room they will let you in.
Maybe this years don't say this?:confused3
EARmail I ticked but no idea what it is, I thought it was just to keep you notified of offers etc but didn't read about it.

I tried to phone to book the Epcot preferred viewing last yr (have also read that MK one is really bad spot), but it was full for every night I tried - and I tried about 6 different nights. I phoned just after the 90 day mark (as dining was 90 days at that point), but think the preferred viewing could be booked at 180 days and I'm certainly gonna be trying it at 180 days this yr. Can never find a good spot at Epcot - unless Wayne wants to share his? ;)

Be warned though - lots of the CMs I spoke to didn't know what I meant by preferred viewing, and I got transfered a few times until they found someone who did know.

Last couple of times we have stood near Morrocco, where Aladdin does meet & greet, both times no-one there, I think nearer you get to the exit the busier, we like it there, good view and quiet.

Thanks Wayne - will give it a try next time. :goodvibes

This year we have the option for preferred viewing but very much doubt we will use it, so many place to choose from and its nice talking to people from other countries whilst waiting for the shows. last year we have a great place at Epcot, hardly anyone around, perfrect viewing, however we were on an illuminations cruise :lmao: it was fab
