Anybody else booked this hotel before that could tell me a little bit about it? I got it through priceline for about $50(total $42 bid + fees). It looks okay on the website, but I would appreciate any first hand knowledge. How far is it from the terminal? I'm starting to get so excited about our trip!

Hi. My husband and I are planning to stay there before our cruise in early November. We get hilton honor points, and can use them there. I'd love to hear some reviews too!

I stayed here the day/night we returned from our cruise on the Magic. I payed more then double what you paid Eric so it was a good deal. The room was pretty much your standard room size. I do remember it was nice and clean. We had a small verandah where we could watch the next boat load of guests sail away at 5 p.m. It was a rather chilly and windy day so we didn't use the pool - it was really small but had a big deck area. We enjoyed being able to walk out on the beach. There was a restaurant but we didn't eat there. There was also a small shop selling everything from snacks to suntan lotion. Staff was very nice, but no choc. chip cookies. Not the greatest Doubletree, but not the worst either!
We booked a room through hotwire.com for the night before our next cruise in May and got the Cocoa Beach Hilton for $43.

Thanks for your comments. I did check out Dave's site, thanks, wovenwonder. Sandee I'm glad to hear your report. Anne2, I will let you know how it was when we return (May trip). Any one else?

What - no cookies?!? We were planning on staying at DoubleTree with Hilton Honor points before our cruise in June, but I may have to rethink that one. I do love their cookies..........:D

Mickey4Me - we got to the Doubletree way before check in time and even though we couldn't get into a room, we went ahead and registered. We had gotten some upsetting news from home moments after debarking from the ship and none of us were thinking too clearly. The front desk person was different when we came back and got our key 3 hrs. later. She may have thought we'd gotten cookies upon registering and none of us thought to ask. It was only the next day on the flight home that my DGrD said, "Hey, that was the cookie hotel...and they didn't give us cookies:mad: "

Thanks for the clarification Sandee! I'll keep my fingers crossed that the cookies are warm and waiting when we check in. :)
