Just booked reservations at The Crystal Palace

We've only had breakfast there. It's a big enough buffet that we all found something to eat and enjoy. It's basic but that was okay. We really went for the characters.

Breakfast is basic but tasty. Dinner was also decent but that was years ago so I don't know if it has stayed good.

The Crystal Palace is my favorite restaurant in the entire world. It's beautiful, the views are beautiful, the characters are fun and IMO the food is excellent. Don't miss the breakfast lasagna!

Been to lunch twice and the food is good...not excellent or bad. Views are wonderful and pretty inside.

It's odd that so many people are saying it's good. It used to be good in the early 2000s when I went, but it was poor quality when I returned in 2013. The shrimp were mushy and the rest of the food items were "Old Country Buffet" level.

If I were going to do it, I'd go for breakfast. However, if you're not interested in a Winnie the Pooh character breakfast, take the monorail over to the Contemporary and dine at The Wave of American Flavors. It has an excellent buffet and will probably be less expensive. If you are interested in character meals, there are better options.

I am not sure what kind of food the posters eat on a regular basis, but unless it's changed in the last 3 years-dinner is horrendous. I so hated it the manager offered to make me whatever I liked. I was like-how are you going to do that-everything you have here is gross.

Breakfast is actually ok. The characters take a long time to get to you. It's poorly managed and I have a number of CM friends who agree.

We just had breakfast (twice) and dinner there during our trip last year and it was excellent as usual. And I won't eat at the Old Country Buffet or the "Golden Trough" so I suppose it's just a matter of taste and expectations. We've always enjoyed the characters. Our son is a teenager now so we're not concerned with how fast they come around or anything but we have about a 15-minute video from when he was baby with Eeyore playing with him and putting his sock on his head. We've never been remotely disappointed. We're very rarely disappointed with anything at Disney World.

I've been for both breakfast and lunch and had great experiences both times. Both meals were the first seating so maybe that had something to do with it. We had an 8:00 breakfast reservation last spring break and the restaurant was pretty much empty. We did lunch last September at 11:30 and that restaurant got busier as the meal went on. It was definitely nice to be among the first to hit the buffet, and to be out of there by the time the peak crowds came in.

Totally agree! It is a beautiful building right across from the castle, made-to-order omelettes and yummy puffy French toast, and of course bouncing with Tigger:tigger:! DS is a huge soccer fan and every time Crystal Palace team is playing (English team where building used for inspiration was located) it makes me think of it and want to be there!

We've been for dinner 3x and really enjoyed it all 3 times. We are trying breakfast for the first time in October and I am so excited.

we like their breakfast. lunch/dinner seems to be carving stations and hot buffet style foods which im not a big fan of.

We like the lunch dinner more than the breakfast.

But, about the breakfast, could someone please explain how "pooh's breakfast lasagna" has no honey in it?:confused3
