Just booked POFQ using Disney Visa Promo

It's official- our trip is booked!!! AND, we are staying at our favorite resort- POFQ! I had read on here that POFQ was not included in the Disney Visa discount- but alas- after calling- I booked it no problem! I first called and asked if it could be used at POFQ- this is a big family vacation- so we had to discuss before actually booking- that CM said yep- no problem! So I then called back after confirming our choice with the other family members and the CM booked it no problem at all! She said POFQ sometimes isn't listed b/c it is technically part of POR- but yes- it could be applied there too!
So happy and excited!!! Now June, hurry up!!!

Was it more than a 20% discount? I got 20% with an AAA discount for my late January reservation. Just curious, since VISA did leave out FQ on their list. Trying to decide if it's worth a call. Also, I was able to book Std View. I'm assuming you had to book Garden View or better? TIA

I "got" it as well but it was not a great bargain by any means. We are going in April and it's still $200 per night. I have paid less than this before for WL.
I paid pretty much last summer for POFQ- and that was peak summer time.

It is listed on the Disney Visa specials page as 25%. No, it is not even 20% once you do the math. We got a package and standard view room- or 3 standard view rooms. on the package- once you subtract the ticket price- it ended up being closer to maybe 15% off the room. For 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 12 and 14- adult tickets), 5 day park hoppers, 6 night stay- the total package savings was right at $180. Great- esp when you are booking 3 rooms/packages (big family trip)- but not the 25% I was hoping for- but that's ok- happy to get that if nothing better comes out! If you got 20%- keep it!

OK, Thanks. Nothing has come out that has beat the 20%! So sad compared to even last year. I'm glad I at least locked that discount in. I'm going solo, so at Moderates and above, the room discounts are the only things that work for me. I remember the days when I got 30-35% off POFQ at this time of year. ugh. But I'm happy I got that 20%, so woo hoo for me.

Mil rate is better but it's still a small resort and only a certain number of rooms allowed for each discount.

Just found out that the discount for POFQ is only 5% and POR is the 25%. On hold now trying to switch- with a family of 11 going (3 different rooms/pacakges)- that is a major difference in price! Hoping I can switch to POR with the discount!
