Just booked our whole week for less than $600!

Yes you read that right. My wife travels for work monthly so over the past year has booked plenty of airline miles. So I was able to book a week at the bwppi for only 100 out of pocket. Then I took our credit card points and redeemed 200 in Target gift cards, bought Disney gift cards with that and bought two 4 day hoppers for 400 out of pocket! We will be there the first week of May! So excited

I travel weekly for work and have become a focused points hoarder for the sole purpose of D-Land trips. Southwest point get me and my friends there, Marriott points pay for off site hotels, and I put every business expenses and reimbursement I can on my AMX cards then use those points to pay of on site resort stays and room charge backs.

Taking a three day trip over Christmas at the Grand with 5 of us all on points...food and all!

Even of you are a casual traveler there are a LOT of points programs that if you set a target for usage can significantly offset your DL costs.

Most simplest is to get the Disney Visa...if you are gonna buy groceries and gas every week might as well be getting points towards a Disneyland trip at the same time using the Disney Credit Card vs getting nada for those same purchases.

Most people don't think twice and dismiss all the point programs out there as I used to but if you find ones that can get you towards specific goals they can be VERY valuable.
