I know it is a long way off...but I just had to tell someone how excited I am that we just booked the Grand CA for Dec 30-Jan 2!!!
And who better to share it with than my fellow Dis'ers?
We've never been during Christmas and I promised my mom I'd take her back before she is too old to ride Indiana Jones.
It was closed when we were there last August.
If anyone has any tips or info about the Holidays at DL, please share. Anything special go on for New Year's Eve?

We were there this past New Years and it was pretty crazy. We go extremely often and have a special needs child, so we don't have too much trouble with waiting for attractions; however, getting around in the park, parades, etc... is much more difficult during busy times like New Years. The park was at capacity several days during this period. We were going into DCA one day, when I heard a partial family behind us informing the rest of their family by phone that they could not get back into DL until approx 5pm because the park was full. This was about 11am! DCA was a lot better than DL, but still quite crowded for DCA. They do have some special stuff for New Years Eve. They set up stages all around both parks and have "dance parties" at each one of different themes-70's, 80's, dance, etc.... Then they set off fireworks from both parks at the same time at midnight. Both parks are open until 2am, I think it was. I originally thought that I might bring a blanket and "camp out" like at the normal fireworks, but found out that would not be possible. We asked some cast members about the stages beforehand, as they start setting them up days in advance. We were told that it would be extremely crowded-shoulder to shoulder. We also ended up talking to another friend of ours who had been and they also said this. So, we ended up going to
