Just booked my vacation for May 7-14, will I like May?

We are very excited! We have never been in May before,we have always stayed in the fall. I hope we will like the weather and the crowds...Anyone have any insight? Thank you in advance. This will be our second stay at the Polynesian.

We love May. Our 1st few trips were in May we used drive my Grandparents car back for them. Then we started going in the fall birthday trips & food & wine Fest. We were just talking about how we want our next trip in May. We love the Flower Fest. And the weather is really warm for swiming & water parks.

We went the first week of May this year. It was wonderful. No rain the entire week and teps in the mid to upper 80's. The Flower and Garden Fest was beautiful. We walked right on most rides, including MS. The longest wait we had was 25 minutes for Splash Mtn. Have fun!!

Our last trip was towards the end of May, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The crowds were really low, comparable to our previous January trip, so lines stayed pretty short. The weather was great -- no chill in the air like January, no disgusting heat and humidity like the summer, and basically no rain (one shower lasted about 10 minutes and that was it for a week). Plus, Epcot has the Flower & Garden festival, which is really beautiful, and MGM has Star Wars weekends. Definitely a good time to go!!

I went the first week of May this year and loved it. Weather was great and there were not a lot of crowds.

The parks can tend to be crowded on weekends with locals, but that is the only real minus for that time of year.

I went in may a few years ago. Our trip ended on Memorial day. I remember the lines at all of the rides being really short. The weather on the other hand was above 95 each day - they were going through a heat wave at the time. But I had always visited WDW in August or July before, so that wasn't too unusual for me. Didn't rain once either. I loved going in May, and I would definatly go again.

Well, I sure liked May. Heheh. (I was there May 8-16.)

Weather: Hot. That's a good thing. It's really not too bad, humidity-wise, where you feel you can't breathe. It's just hot enough to really enjoy the pools, yet still feel ok walking around the parks.

Crowds: I didn't find it really crowded, but I did use FastPass often. If the lines were over 30 minutes, I'd skip them or grab a FP, if applicable.

I usually go in the fall/winter (Nov/Dec), and I'm doing so again, actually! I liked that I was able to get some pool time in, since I've not had much luck with pool weather in the later months.

I think you'll have lots of fun at the Polynesian in May.

May is GREAT!!!!!
Weather this year awesome it rained for 5 whole minutes one afternoon. temp were mid to upeer 80's. Last years weather was quite toasty 95 and very humind and rain about 5pm every afternoon. The lines at the parks were very short I think we did fastpass once each year. The flower and garden show is beautiful.

We just went this last trip in early May and it was wondeful! Great Florida weather-not too hot, great breezes, manageable crowds and good park hours! We have always gone in June. What a difference. So much more enjoyable. We are already planning our next trip which will be in..you guessed it...MAY!
