Just booked Minnie's!

I was really hoping I would be able to book a suprise meal at Minnie and Friends for my neice's actual birthday on March 15th. It's our last day in the parks, but I thought maybe I could get an early reservation, since we'll have already used our MM. Sure enough, I called tonight and got the 7:10am ressie I've never been there that early, but I hear the early ressies are wonderful! Can't wait! Just had to share my excitement!

Have fun!! We LOVE Minnie's!! Lots of characters and it is fun to be right in Disneyland for your meal. Plus you'll be able to get a great Castle picture with no people!

We were there last week and did the same thing, we were so excited, but they did not let the Character dining line into the park any earlier than anyone else. We had a 9:20 reservation and were let into the park at 10 with everyone else. The entire character breakfast line was upset at this also; maybe it was just the day or something happened. I do not know. The reservation lady even told us to be there at 9 just to be safe, it was a little disappointing, after reading all the comments on here about being able to get in to eat a little earlier I was excited to see the park a little empty, but that did not happen.

Now the breakfast was one of the best I have ever been to at all. It was amazing, and the character interaction was beyond anything I could have imagined. You will have a great time.

Sounds like a mix-up. We always make reservations on a MM morning. The reservation is for 7:10. We go to Gate One...it is clearly marked character breakfast. The last time we were there we were first in line. The CM was concerned because she didn't have the reservation list from the restaurant yet. A CM from the Plaza got there right as the gates opened for MM. They checked our name, gave us our breakfast with Minnie buttons, and checked our park tickets. We were at the restaurant by 7:02.

Is that truely the best time for character interaction? I hear it is pretty empty as far as guests go, but still full of characters. I'd love to hear your experience since you do this quite often. We will be there on a MM the first week of "spring break" at DL. Thanks!
