Just booked May transition cruise..

I am not up on all the pricing.. A couple of days ago I sent in a request with Dreams Unlimited and they secured two connecting (with door) cat 6 staterooms (7040 and 7042) for our family of 5 (6,4,2) for $13,809.45 (tax included)

How does that rate? More than the first callers.... I am guessing...


It is still 50/50 that we will go.. that is a looooooong trip with kids so small, but the lure of doing the Panama canal on Disney is too much.... LOL

Your price looks cheaper than the quotes we are getting for two cat 6 on the same one (we have 4 adults 2 kids)...$15638.34 which seems outrageous.

We have not done a Disney Cruise before and thought this was a good way to jump in....

Actually, 7040 and 7042 are Cat-5's. I also placed a request with DU for two Cat-6's, and they booked two Cat-5's. I was told they booked Cat-5's because Cat-6's are on a "guarantee", and our cabins wouldn't be assigned until we got to the pier...as a result, our cabins might not be close.

Your price is not that far off from our's -- $13,403.56 (including taxes and DU discount). We placed our request with DU two days before the cruise went on sale.

Congratulations!! We have 3 young children too (8, 7 and 5 at cruise time). I was nervous about 14 days but I know Disney will do it right....you just can't beat the opportunity to go through the Panama Canal on a Disney ship.

I can't say much about your price because we went with 2 connecting category 10's. We got ours for right around $6000 for the August reposition cruise. Amazing for 14 days lodging, food and entertainment....

Hope you decide to take the trip. There's going to be one heck of a Dis meet on these cruises!!
