My husband and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this May (20th). We decided to do something different and will be taking a cruise (Disney cruise was too expensive). But we just calculated our finances and found that, due to an extra job, we have enough for a 3 1/2-day Disney trip, too!!
This will be our first "couple only" WDW experience, and our first off site (I had already partially paid for a rental unit, so we wanted to take advantage of that part being paid for). So this will be a very different experience, but I am really looking forward to experiencing Disney as empty nesters!
We are tentatively planning on a family trip in January, going our usual route (campground, in our newly purchased 5th wheel), assuming our son's new job gives him enough time off to go. We'll have to wait until August to make those plans definite.
But for now, I'm so excited for our cruise, our short Disney experience, and even more, for 30 incredible years with the most wonderful man in the world!!
