Just booked HOJO suite for $74/night

So excited!!!

I just booked the HOJO queen suite for $74/per night for 5 nights in December. Free internet and the pool will be done. Can it get any better than that?

I called yesterday and they didn't have all of my dates available but I was e-mailing with Lorealle and she said they were available so I called again today and my dates were free. I can't believe I am getting such a good rate!

We are in building 2. Can anyone share anything about that building with me? I know I don't have a Disney view but I think I can live without it.

Wow, are you sure it's the queen suite at that rate? They only have one, and I posted pictures of it after our trip last November -- I'll try to dig up that thread. We got the ent. rate on it from Willie, and paid $99, and thought that was a good deal. Good for you -- it's a great room!

Ok, so I'm a little bummed. I posted that when she put me on hold to check to do my reservations. Then she came back on and said they aren't doing the $74 rate anymore and it was going to be $152 Total bummer... At least we are getting the queen suite though.

And I booked the king suite for August of 09.

are you saying they are not doing the $74 rate anymore for any rooms or just for the suit? I sure hope the rate has not increased for the non suits. we are not going until May 09 and I am not sure that a rate increase of that much for a non suite room will be in our budget.

Sorry, should have been more specific. It's just the suite that they are not doing the $74/night anymore. I was very disappointed. I was kind of hoping she might give me a little bit of an extra discount since she had misquoted me so differently. I mean in a matter of seconds my rate doubled... It's still a really nice room at a pretty decent rate.

I haven't seen the price of the queen suite drop below $199 in the last half year or so since I've checked the HOJO site. and the $199 price was listed as the ent. rate. Without the ent rate, it was much higher. I can't see how it could've been anywhere near $74 recently, as far as it not being available for that price any longer. Just guessing, but I imagine that it's been quite a while since a suite was at that price, since the premium rooms are the same. Apparently, that is the room that you got quoted. I'm sorry for your disappointment.

Just thought I'd add my experience with booking a suite here. Since several folks seem interested in them.

I booked the king suite last week for Dec 15th-21st. I got an ent. rate of $124.00 night for the 15th-18th, and was quoted a regular price of $199 for the last two nights. I asked to have the 15% discount applied to the last two nights for a rate of $169. Our total for 6 nights came out to be $954.44 including tax. Not bad in my opinion for a suite with park views! I'm so excited about it, and can't wait to get there!

Thank you mommy2, I had that same room booked for December and didn't get the rate you had even though I put in the code. The always helpful Lorealle took care of it and now I'm getting the great rate - it'll save us about $200 over the 3 nights. Gotta love Lorealle, she does a wonderful job.
