I never thought spending thousands of pounds could feel so good!!!

Just booked for next August (this time next year we'll be there) and I can't believe how much better I feel.

My whole mood has improved...how sad is that??

We are leaving on the 15/8/03 from Manchester. 2 weeks in an executive villa (that's what Travel City said anyway) at Clear Creek. Private pool won over All Stars now that Early Entry is gone.

I'm constantly thinking about making the PS's for Cinderella's etc. Work just gets in the way don't you find?

I'm more excited than the kids.....it's only here I know I'll be understood.

My name is Craig and I'm a disneyholic. There, better now.:) :jester: :Pinkbounc :teeth:

Hi Craig - I'm on the verge of booking myself, and i know what you mean about work getting in the way...

I've just got too many prices, too many choices, and am having a hard time choosing just one.

We;re looking at next June, so we'll be counting down a year as well.

I know what you mean about too many options. In the end I just had to book something before my head exploded.

I've probably paid a little extra for the one stop shop approach, but I just didn't have the time to investigate all the options fully.

I've been loads of times from being 10 yrs old, (not too long ago I might add) but this is only the 3rd time wife & kids have been. I've almost finished the WDW indoctriniation of them now. My wife is almost as excited as me now.

I only have to mention the Brown Derby and Cali Grill, and her eyes go all misty.

Once upon time I had that effect on her.!!!!!!!!:p

Main Street Bakery...here I come

Hi Craig :wave: and welcome to the DIS boards!

Yes, it's the happiest way to spend LOTS of money that I've come across ;)

I've just booked our flights - Gatwick to MCO with Virgin :)

Leaving 10th August 2003 for 2 weeks - see you there Craig :)

Also booked a family room and 15 days parking at the Gatwick Hilton for the night before our flight :cool:

Shall we say Space Mountain at 3pm. I'll be the one screaming like a girl!!

Hope you have a great time. Let's hope the countdown goes quickly.

Hey Craig welcome to the boards :wave:

I've just booked my trip for December and I'm pretty excited to at least you will all have your holidays to look forward to when I get back ;)

You know the next 12 months will fly by:Pinkbounc

Hi Craig, and welcome :wave:

Our next trip is just over 7 weeks away :teeth: and we booked in April 2001, so I know just how you feel! The planning is half the fun, isn't it? We've stayed in a private villa at Clear Creek, so if you have any questions, ask away!

Hi Craig :wave:

~~~*Welcome to the UKDis!*~~~
You're amongst friends here - we're all pretty much the same :)
Just wish I have a countdown :(
Still, I can share everyone's build up and excitement to their trips - so roll out your questions and queries - it's what keeps us without countdown's going :D :D :D :D
Hi Craig,
Just wanted to say hello and welcome to the boards. Great news about booking your trip. Like the others have said half the fun is planning. Have fun.
UKDEB, that's handy!!! My main concern was the traffic situation travelling from Clear Creek to WDW. I've heard some say the traffic is really bad down the 27 and on to the 192. How did you find it? How long did it take you to drive to the magic?
And of course, was your villa nice? I've stayed in a couple of villas around WDW and they have all been lovely, so I'm hoping these are the same.
Thanks for all the welcomes by the way. This is much better than doing work!!!
:cool:
Hi Craig! :wave:
You're the second Mancunian I've said hello to this morning! :D
It's great to have something booked and to look foward to isn't it? We are going in December, but it should have been LAST December, cancelled due to health problems! :rolleyes: So, it's been a really LONG wait for us, only 4 months to go now, if anyone dares to get the 'flu I will just SCREAM!!!!! LOL!!! :p
Mazzy
I'm actually from Bolton, just outisde Manchester so I'm not a true Manc in the Gallagher brothers image!!! Thank God.
I've always fancied doing Disney at xmas. I've heard they make it snow!!!! Is that true??:confused:
Craig - although I was born in Manchester I'm not a fan of the Gallagher brothers either! ;)
Yes it does snow in WDW at the Osborne Lights at MGM in the evenings! They sell hot chocolate too whatever the air temperature! It believe it also snows in MK at Mickey's Christmas party parade but that is in the run up to Xmas, not when we will be there.
We will arrive on Boxing Day so I'm sure the Xmas Season will still be in full swing! :D
