Travelling June 7 through the 14th. Doing a split stay between WL and AKL.

I wasn't sure if I would be able to book fast passes for the second part of our stay. It turns out that I was able to do so. I did not have to wait until 60 days out from our June 11th check in.

It was not difficult, although our party of 4 is riding together so I didn't have anything complicated to do.

I was disappointed that the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was not an option, though it is scheduled to be open during our stay.

Most, but not all times, were available 60 days out. For example, Soarin' was available for the 9:05 to 10:05 window, and the next available window was 1:25 to 2:25. Nothing in between. Also, Expedition Everest was not available from noon until 1:10. I only noticed these because I was trying to book around lunch time.

For some reason I had the hardest time with the AK, because I was trying to work around the shows and be out of the park by 4:00.

I did not book anything for our final day, because I wanted to leave that day open for whatever we decided to do. I hope I don't regret that decision. I hope there are still fp options available when we get there. If not, we'll probably just do a water park and maybe the Epcot countries at night.

Oh, and Wishes did not appear as a choice, not did the parades. No info on the site as to when these might become available. Were it not for these boards, I would have no idea that they may become an option.
I would think that Disney might give out some info about that, because most people may not check back after they make their original picks.

Oh well it's done anyway (at least for now)! :)

Did you book and then go back in to adjust the times? Parades and Wishes seem to only be released 2 weeks prior. Also noticing on the day of, at park opening they release additional FPs. Same thing may happen for 30 days out.

This question would be more towards people who have changed their FP+ bookings.

So lets say I book my FP+ today.

Then a few days later, I decide to change one.

Do I have to "lose/delete" the FP+ I want to change to start seeing availability of another time or attraction?

Or can I view whats available and THEN make my change?

I'm afraid to lose a less than perfect FP+ only to find out there isnt ANYTHING reasonably decent available (to coincide with our current plan for the day)

Yes, that's what I did. Took what they gave me and then changed everything.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have the same fear!

Go into a day you want to change. I've been checking because I keep looking for the Seven D MT FP+. But I also used it to modify my day a few times.

Nothing changes until you select (and confirm) your new time for your new Fast pass. It will give you a list of options (if any times are available), and if you want to switch rides, it will give you a list of rides available for switch.

Personally, I'd plug in a few choices for your last day - even if you don't/can't use them. Better to have something that you don't use - instead of nothing - and you WANT to find something.

Switching is relatively easy. I've done it a few times - tweaking my times along with a walking schedule on touring plans - working hard to maximize my time to relax. Better to work through the work, and relax through the vacation!

If you go in to edit your FP you can choose to change attraction or change times. It will then give you the available list. If you don't like what you see, you can cancel instead of confirming without losing your original FP. If you accept and confirm the new time or attraction it automatically overwrites the existing one, but won't do so until you confirm.

I'm on the same schedule as OP! (Except we leave on the 13th) so I just booked mine. I had to go in and change just about everything immediately but I was warned that would happen and that it's best to just accept one of the choices they give you.

You ARE able to see the available times (I was on the computer, not my smart phone), choose it, then hit accept (or change can't remember what the button said) and it seems to me that you wouldn't lose your original time until you "accept" the new choice you made. CAVEAT - I could be entirely wrong about that. but it seemed pretty intuitive to me that nothing was changing until I chose the alternate time I wanted and hit the button accepting that choice....

You pick the attraction you want to modify and it will pull up options for you to view before you make changes. You can definitely compare before you change. You don't lose or delete the existing FP+ until you agree to the change.

Thanks for all the replies to my question!

I also did my fast passes today for the same time dates. I worked most of my fast passes into the afternoon between lunch and dinner. Going to try and get a few rides in, in the morning time before the crowded mid-day. I also wanted the mine train but I put some place holder rides in, and im hoping that before we go the mine train opens up to fast pass, then ill quickly go in and swap one of them out for the mine train. Thats the plan at least.. lol
