Just booked for June 2009!

I just booked several units for an extended family trip in June 2009. It is so much fun to be able to share our newly acquired DVC with our family.

It is going to be a great trip!!

I have 3 studio units booked at Saratoga Springs, my home resort. At the 7 month mark I may see if there is anything open at Old Key West, so that we can upgrade to at least one one bedroom unit for the kitchen and laundry facilities. I wanted to do a family trip, but also save points for a trip later in the year, so for now the 3 studio units at Saratoga Springs uses the least amount of points and gets us rooms on property.

That sounds like a great plan. When we have more than just the 2 of us, we like to book at OKW because of the space. In fact, 2.5 weeks we will be doing just that!

I splurged and booked an OKW GV for 5 June weekdays (10 extra points/night for max 12 occupancy over a 2br and a studio). For you if you can get a 2br and a studio you will be getting the kitchen/living room for 2 pts/night weekdays, quite a bargain. This is one of the big reasons I bought at OKW, that and the “laid back” atmosphere. Good luck with the 7-month change (just do not book the studio I may need if more family decides to come later)
