Just booked for July 3rd Wonder! I'm so excited!

We are booked for our 2nd DCL cruise on July 3, 2005. We'll be travelling with DD (5) and DS (7 months). I'm nervous about cruising with the baby, but hopeful it won't be too crazy. I've never been to Nassau and can't wait to see Castaway Cay again. Last time we took a 7-day cruise, so it'll be be a change to only be on the "big boat" for four days.

How is DCL on the fourth of July? Fun? Do they do anything special? I know we'll be in Nassau that day, but I'm not sure how far off the boat we can go, with the baby.

We are also going to spend 5 nights before the cruise just outside of Disney at the NickHotel. We plan to split our time between Universal Studios and WDW. During that time, we'll also be celebrating DD's birthday and my birthday. So exciting. I can't wait.

Consider me obessed with these boards between now and July.

From what I've been told the Atlantis Hotel does fireworks, but some posts on this board say the Wonder is starting to leave Nassau earlier in the evening to do their own fireworks after pirate night. I called DCL and they still show the departure time as 10:30 pm.
