We just booked a trip for the first week of Feb. we booked the package deal with dining and tickets. My son and I still have 5 days of tickets from a previous trip. Am I able to upgrade just my DH and other DS 2 day ticket without upgrading the whole package? I am so excited for this trip first time on property in years and first time my youngest is over 40 inches! Not sure who is more excited me or him!

Yes, you can upgrade their tickets without upgrading your own but you will have to wait until your arrival to do it.

You will only be able to reserve 2 days of FP+ prior to arrival since all of your MBs will only have. 2-day tickets linked to them.

and wait until you use the tickets before upgrading. In other words, enter a park once and then upgrade. Just remember to do it before your last day on the tickets.

If she booked a package, the tickets that she gets at check- in will already be " gate price ". No need to use first prior to upgrade. She can upgrade at the lobby concierge.

this is interesting, is it new? I didn't know I could potentially upgrade some of the package tickets, but not others,I think I had assumed, like for ddp, it had to be all or nothing.....

It's nothing new. You could always book tickets with a minimum number of days and features and then upgrade them at any time during your visit before they are used up*.

However, with MDE, MBs and FP+, it can hinder you from booking your FP+ times ahead of your visit. You can only book FP+ for the number of days on the tickets tied to your MBs. If you only have 2-day passes, you can only book 2 days' worth of FP+ reservations.

*ETA: And as long as it is within 14 days of the first day of use.
