Hi there
After reading two 800 page books cover to cover about how to go to Disneyworld...when, where, etc...we learned that the three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas were supposed to be the least three busy of the year. I was nervous that the place would feel deserted...far from it!!! I can only speak about the one week of the three that were there. It certainly did not feel deserted...but, we had minimal waits for everything, until Friday and Saturday 12/14 & 15...our last days. The crowds seemed to increase dramatically...we did AK on Friday; used fastpass a couple of times, as the waits were over 20 minutes. On Saturday we did MK that morning, as we had a late flight. We used fastpass once...but the park overall seemed more crowded compared to earlier in the week. This is relatively speaking however, as we have gone in March before...when we couldn't move and waits for rides were over 2 hours long. We made many ADRs prior to leaving and ended up cancelling them as we were able to walk right in to other restaurants that were more convenient for us, at any given time. The parks were definately busier at night...especially on the park, with the extended magic hours...definately not worth doing. But, overall, it was a great time to go. The parks looked amazing...decorations were beautiful! The castle was breathtaking. We loved every minute of it!!!
