Just booked for the christmas season and got a great deal, 2 nights at the Sequia Lodge in a montana lake view room with direct return eurostar to london for only £260 for the 2 of us!!!! bargin!!! USing the Ap discount we got a 25% discount on the room and the euro tunnel is only £35.50 each way per person, still cant beleive how cheap it was...

Only 4 weeks to go...

Can I ask mrsStonefiesta, did you get a helpful CM when you were booking your room only with AP discount? Because I phoned them for the first time last week, and couldn't make head nor tail of what the CM was talking about (and it was the English line I was put through to :confused3 !).

The prices he quoted me for the Santa Fe and the Seqouia Lodge for room only, including dream AP discount, for just into the Christmas season were about one third more than the Expedia price for room only!

I asked the CM what % discounts were available to Dream AP holders in November, and he said that wasn't the way it worked - that I had to let him know what dates I was thinking of, and which hotels, and he would tell me the discounted price, if available.

I got nowhere with him.

Hello, I was there when she booked it and from the sounds of it she had an extremely helpful cm. I dont think the Mrs will have time to answer today but i'll let her know she has a question and hopefully she can help asap.

I did have a very helpful CM :thumbsup2 , she knew exactly waht i was talking about and gave me prices for a few different hotels, the Sequoia Lodge was only about £40 dearer than cheyanne for the same dates as it was a 10% disc at the cheyanne and 25% at sequoia.

I seem to be quite lucky as i have never had problems with booking room only, although i am aware that alot of people on the boards do. The CM i spoke to was a lovely french lady who couldn't have been more helpful. I would say phone back and keep trying... Good luck:wizard:

Excellent deal: well done!
You might be able to help me! We are looking to get annual passes so we can book room only for 6 days to do Paris etc and then Castle Club for 3 days to do the parks. When you get an annual pass through the post, will it be a temporary one? And will I be able to use it to book the AP rate for the hotel? I keep calling DLP, the Shareholders' Club and the AP office, but no one seems to want to help?

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the encouragement mrs and mr stonfiesta -

I'm booked, using AP discount, for the Cheyenne (3weeks from today, yippeee!!!). I gave up on the AP phone lines after being cut off about half a dozen times, phoned the normal UK line (08705 03 03 03) and got a lovely American CM who knew all about AP's and room-only rates with them.

Very happy with the room rate :thumbsup2 - and thrilled to be seeing DLRP at Christmas!

When we phoned about our AP's we was somehow allowed to book the hotel with the discount even though we hadnt got the AP's yet. But we had to get them as soon as we went into the park. So im not sure how it works by post. Hopefully the Mrs can help later on.
