YEAH!! We are going back! Just booked for Feb. 25, 2006 Western on the Magic. We got our same stateroom from this year, 2564.

Now, someone remind me how to add the counter at the bottom!

It is so great to have another cruise to look forward to!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

We're with you! This will be our second cruise. Our first one was the Eastern this past February, and the second I stepped off the boat I alerted everyone that I would be travelling again in '06, snd whoever wanted to come would be welcome. 6 of the 10 of us have rebooked!

Kind of a sad countdown clock, but better than no countdown clock at all!!

Hi feiste!

We said the same thing as we got off the ship this past March! We loved the Western so much we booked that again. We heard stories of very rough seas on both Eastern cruises just before and just after ours, so we thought we had better stick with what worked for us.

Do you have any kids going? My DS will 14 at the end of the week for this cruise.

Yes, the counter is sad, but IT FEELS SO GOOD TO HAVE A COUNTER BACK I DON'T CARE!!!!

Let's keep in touch,
deco

Hi decolady,

My girls will be 8 and 5 on our next cruise. My husband has been editing the video from our first trip and everytime my girls see him working on it they beg us to go again. There is no keeping a secret in my house, I blabbed the news to everyone as they arrived home from work/school yesterday.

We really enjoyed the Eastern, and from what you say about the weather we may have been on the cruise right before you. We were on the 2/21 sailing. The seas were not rough until the last day. I kind of enjoyed it, however I have a feeling that I would have gotten seasick if I had not had the week of getting acclimated prior to the stormy seas.

We have secured two SPH rooms, and we were on the 2nd floor like you last time.

How was Key West, and what excursions did you enjoy on the Western?

Has anyone started a thread yet for our week?

We were on the 3/13 this year. In Key West, we just walked around and shopped a bit. We only did one excursion the whole week, that was the Dolphin Adventure in Cozumel. I would highly recommend that one! Other than that, we quickly learned that when we are in port is the best time to be on the ship! Pools were nice and empty as well as most other areas.

We had very calm seas the whole week, you didn't even know you were cruising. I knew someone on an Eastern cruise on Carnival the same week who was miserably sick the whole time. I know that doesn't mean it will be the same way in 2006, but we are really going for the cruise not the ports.

Did you enjoy the ports on the Eastern? What did you do while in port?

My next door neighbor may be joining us, they have a DD who will be almost 8 at cruise time.

Oops, forgot a question!

I think this is it as far as threads, we'll have to keep it going!

I thought about trying to get a SPH room, but for the $200, I would rather be in the middle of the ship and have an unobstructed view. We really liked the location of our room, it was very convenient to everything.

I started a thread with our date. I'm sure it will be a while brfore others join.

I am with you. I could care less where the ship goes, I would be happy sailing in cirlces in the warm weather for a week. On our Eastern cruise we did the Butterfly tour, a couple people did a Regatta race, and a few people went on a Snorkle trip in St. John's. Who knows what we will try this time.

I am not sure how small or large our group will be. We are currently 6 (my family plus my parents). My brother and his family had originally said they were going to go again, as well as my SIL's folks, but who knows how that will end up. Many other friends/family have said that they were going to join us on our next cruise, however now that booking time is here we will have to see how that pans out. As long as I am booked I could care less!

We actually thought about going with cat 11 this time, only upgrading if the SPH was available. Booking this far out we are still paying less than our last cruise.

I'll see you in the thread meets!
