We are new to Disney Cruises. We have been looking for about 4 months now for a family vacation. Our 8 year old son will be finishing up his 2 year chemotherapy treatment for Leukemia (ALL) this September. We want to take our 3 kids away for a much deserved trip. DH and I are also very much in need of one. After reading up on the Disney land/sea trip, we thought this would be the perfect getaway for all of us.
I just got off the phone with All Seasons Travel. We reserved our spot on a cruise in November. WOOHOOOO I'm so excited and feel like a ton of bricks has been lifted off. Probably sounds funny, but it was almost a burden to try to put something together. Now that I have that part behind me, I can have fun planning the trip.
I am getting good tips from this message board. Glad I found it.
Now -- how can we keep from letting the kids know about it? I'm thinking of just filling them in on the Disney trip, but making the cruise part a total surprise. WIll that be possible????
