I have been agonizing in my Disney-obsessed way about which tickets to get for Cirque. I'm going in July, and you can order tickets 6 months in advance, so I've been waiting for January to come!

Anyway, Disney online showed the best seats to be in section 205, which is slightly off to the side. I was surprised that all the category 1 seats were gone already, just days into the 6-month window. So I called Disney, and was told I could get section 204, which is a good section, but not down by the stage. She said no stage seats were showing up. Then she said she'll transfer me to the Cirque theater to see what they can do. I spoke to Conan, and he said he could give me section 103, row A, seats 5,6,and 7, with seat 6 being dead center. These seats are right up to the stage.

I was agonizing because I've read that it's better to be back from the stage to see the whole panorama in the air, and others said it's cool to be close to the performers. Even Conan said in his opinion, the best seats are in section 103, row H. But I thought if I'm going to be that close, I may as well go for the whole effect and take the stage seats.

Now, my question is, have any Disers ever sat in row A, or very close to the stage? I've heard I'm going to spend the 90 minutes with a stiff neck from loking up, so I'd love to hear some positive experiences.

Thanks!

I sat close to the stage at La Nouba, Varekai (in Phila) and I have front row seats for Allegria in July. It is nothing like getting a sore neck like you would in a movie theater. I thought the front row seats were wonderful. Mostly they are reserved for Cirque friends and family, so he must have given you really good seats, maybe even family seats. I usually get the 3rd row because they don't usually sell the first row to us outsiders. Honestly, you can't get a bad seat in Cirque. There are no nose bleed sections and they go upward as you go towards the back of the theater so everyone has a good view. I was amazed that all the seats were right on the stage. I really liked being up front in Varekai because they were jumping and flipping right above my head and I felt like I was in on the action. Marvelous. At La Nouba, they have a scene where they do flips along these stretches of rubber pathways, and you might not be able to see them actually bounce on them. But you will get the full effect of them going into the air. So that is a toss up for me whether I'd want to be up front or further away. It is sooo stunning that I am sure you will love it no matter where you are seated. Seeing it from above is really nice so you can see the designs they make, but seeing it up close is great too. If I were you, I would keep the great seats up front and enjoy. Then when you go again in a few years, get the normal seats back a ways. I don't know if you will be lucky enough to get front row again, up close maybe, but not front row. So this might be your once in a lifetime chance to be right up in the action. Hope this helps!! Enjoy!

I think the "perfect" seats would be about 7-8 rows back. We were in 103, row D and thought they were great seats. In the first row your head will be above stage level but well below eye level with the performers; we weren't even quite at eye level in row D. Everybody in the theatre has to look up as some acts are VERY high above the stage! I'm sure you will enjoy it! "No bad seats" certainly includes first row.

We just went on 1/6, row 102 A seats 1 and 2. We loved it!!! No stiff necks; we really enjoyed being so close to the stage. You could see the performers expressions, the clowns (or whatever they were supposed to be - lol) would look right at you and make faces, it was great:D Here's a thought - go twice and get front row tickets, and then tickets further back, then tell us what you think ;) Have fun!!

What good luck you have to experience Cirque front row center. It was nice of the CM to put you through directly to the theater and was great that the Cirque CM gave you those VIP seats!

I guess the front center seats don't show up on the regular CM screen?

WOW! Those are really good seats. We have had front row for La Nouba, Mystere and Varekai and loved them. As the others have said there is nothing like being able to see the performers up close and they can see you too (remember that with the stage lighting they can not see the entire audience so they are looking at YOU). I agree that a few rows back gives a different perspective, but front row is awesome. As for the "sore neck" the only act we had a problem with was the trapeze and it was not really a problem. All the other acts are not at a weird angle so you don't have to adjust to see them. With the Trapeze act we found that slouching a little bit in the seat helps because of the way thay the net is set up you kinda have to adjust, but it is definetly a very interesting view of the act that the other people will not experience. (If it was Varekai I would say you need to be a few rows back as the stage is higher and can get in the way alittle, but for La Nouba, you got the best seats in the house. I always tell my friends there are not bad seats at a Cirque show, they really made the effort to make sure of that when designing the theaters, but you can't beat front row :)

We were just there last week and had front row seats and loved it. We ordered our tickets directly from La Noumba website and picked them up at the box office the night of the performance. There really are no bad seats that I could tell especially if you are located toward the center. Enjoy!!!
