We are going to try BWV for the first time in June!

Called this am at the 7 month mark and got a 2 bedroom. It will be DH, me, DS15, DD13, DS10 and DS9.

It will be at the end of our Vero Beach trip and we will NOT have park tickets! ACK!

This will be our first time staying at BWV and I am very excited that I got the Boardwalk view.

Now the planning begins.

1. Is boardwalk view really a view directly of the boardwalk? Does that mean we will have a balcony overlooking it?

2. Is the pool area really neat? I've seen pictures of the clown head, but don't really know much about it.

We're debating the DDP for this short trip.

3. Is there a counter service restaurant in the resort or is it outside on the BW? We're so used to going to Roaring Fork and getting drinks, snacks and yummy food.

Any advice or suggestions welcome! Thanks :goodvibes

No real counter service within the resort. You can get some goodies from the pool bar. The Boardwalk does have the ESPN club, the bakery has sandwiches and salads, and the pizza window as well as a cart or two. Big River Grill does take out as well as the sit down meal. It's a lot of fun to just sit on your balcony and watch the performers if your villa is not too high up or far from where they are. Mornings are great to sit on the balcony and look over the lake. Depending on your location, you can see the Epcot fireworks over the ESPN club as well. We have enjoyed the main pool (grandkids like the clown slide), the quiet pool, and the hot tubs. Have a wonderful trip!
