I bought APs for me and my DW last May, and I wanted to get one more trip out of them before they expire, so...

I just booked 8 nights in a 2 bedroom deluxe at Bonnet Creek for $745 through Vacation Strategy.

We used VS last year to stay at WBC and had a wonderful time. My kids keep asking to go back to "The Hotel" as they call it. :)

And now, the long wait for April!

Have been thinking about Bonnet Creek, my only concern is that I love the Disney Transportation system and I am worried that our transportation options will be limited from Bonnet Creek. I like to be able to come and go so easily on property. I have asked for but been unable to get a schedule or any significant info on the bus schedule for a trip in April

Sounds like a great deal. I'm planning on booking Bonnet Creek for this coming April as well. Will be my first time there after being a regular Westgate Lakes customer. I should probably get my reservation in sooner, rather than later!

Out of curiosity, which week in April?

I've tried the Bonnet Creek website and get no availability for our days in May 2013. We're a family of 5 and I could get 2 1 bedroom suites but I don't want that. Booked Port Orleans - Riverside.

Not sure if theres somewhere else to check for Bonnet Creek.

Thanks,
Joanne

The resort busses at bonnet creek typically run every 30 mins rather than 15 or so on site. With a little extra planning we have never had a real problem. I don't think you will ever get the same level as onsite transport but this is not bad

We are at Bonnet Creek now in a 3 bedroom. Have used Vacation Strategy three times since September as our daughter has been here working at Disney in the College Program. They have been great to work with and the prices have been great. We used the bus for the first time this trip to Magic Kingdom and it was very good. Could not be any happier with the complex or with vacation strategy.

We too booked our vacation via Vacation Strategy and can't wait for April :yay:
Can't wait to see BC.

Congrats. Great price for a 2 bedroom!

The Bonnet Creek website may have less availability than one of the timeshare rental places like VS or Vacation Upgrades. I would try one of them and see if they have something.

Maybe we will see you there. It is a beautiful resort.

I've never used it since we drive our minivan down there, but like the other posters have said, it won't be as frequent as Disney's onsite transport.

We have use the bus without any problems. We always pick up a schedule at the front desk and keep it handy. Sometimes we would use Disney bus to get to another park to catch at certain times.

I'm staying in a one bedroom for ten nights May 10th-20th for $895.00 through Vacation Strategies. Before booking with them though, I also got quote from Vacation Upgrades, Farrell's Vacations, and a lady someone here on the DIS recommended through VRBO. The quotes were all over the place, with Vacation Strategies being the cheapest at $89.60/night. The Bonnet Creek website was by far the most expensive. Vacation Strategies, Vacation Upgrades, and Farrell Vacations get alot of good reviews on the Bonnet Creek thread here on the DIS.

Bonnet Creek has more 2 bedrooms than 1 or 3 bedrooms. If a 2 bedroom would work you might want to try that route for your vacation in May. I just booked a 2 bedroom for the first full week in May.

I am looking to possibly book two separate stays at WBC. I have been researching it and it looks like we could save considerable money. I am getting quotes from Vacation Strategies and Vacation Upgrades. Has anyone worked with either of these...if so is it a pay up front or deposit scenario. We are looking to do an April and November trip right now and would love to go to WBC.

Vacation Upgrades usually requires a deposit with the balance due 30 days prior. They will also try to rebook at the 60 day mark if there is a lower price available. Very easy to work with!

I am also looking to book in Nvoember...except the week of Thanksgiving...should I expect to pay more during that period......I'm so envious of ppl getting below $100 rate......though I may need a 3 bedrooms with my parents and all.....how much should I expect to pay for that week? Just started planning....very overwhelmed right now.

Unbelievable, just heard back from Vacation Strategy (I think that may be a record) and they gave me a rate of $625 for 7 nights in April for a 2 bedroom deluxe. That is just over $89 each night. We were originally looking at staying at Disney's All-Star Music, but it was twice that for 6 nights at the same time...:scared1:

Looks like I know where we will be staying :goodvibes
