just booked and need reassuring

As some of you might know we have been home about 4 days and since getting back i have been on a mission to book again for next year, well today the mission went into overdrive, my son is away with his Grandad, my husband is on a stag weekend and i have just gone and booked 3 weeks for next July flying with Virgin!!! My only doubt is that this year we stayed in a beautiful villa in southern dunes and we were hoping to go back, but the offer i got with Virgin was too good to turn down complete with villa and car! The villa for next years holiday will be AOA. How many of you try new villas each year or should i just stick to what i know best???

Hi there, I don't know whether it reassures you, but we have had a different villa each time, and this year it will be our 4th time, but our 3rd villa, as the first year we stayed at Saratoga villas.
We have never know exactly what our villas was going to be like, but we figured that most villas are going to be of a fairly good standard as the Americans expect a certain degree of comfort.

We are going back in just under 2 weeks to Cumbrian Lakes, we have never been before, but the anticipation is part of the excitement. From our experience, our 1st villa at Sunridge Woods was better than the next villa we stayed in, but only because it was newer, the second villa was still of a high standard.
Just look forward to going back and planning another great holiday!

We have stayed in many villas and usually always choose a different one each time, although the location is in Kissimmee each time.

A word of comfort is that all villas are well maintained so I am sure you will be fine, however personally prefer to choose our own and book independantly.

thank you for your replies, because i booked late on saturday afternoon i was going to try and phone the travel agents first thing on monday morning and see if i can change the details to virgin fly drive and get the villa ourselves. I've had some really good prices in the locations i really like. If i change my holiday details i will most likely occur some knid of charge so maybe it's worth staying with what i've booked.. Like you say at least we're GOING BACK!!!!

just see how much the charge will be to change it to a flydrive and then the cost of getting your own villa- usually getting your own villa is a lot cheaper!! what you pay out in charges might still work out cheaper if getting your own villa- does this make sense???

Did you get it sorted out?

I always prefer to choose a private villa because there are certain things that are important to me.. not bothered about the location but ..

I like to back onto some kind of view, never want to back onto a road or another villa screen. It has to have a covered lania .. love sitting out when its too hot or raining.. has to have the correct configuration of beds and enough bathrooms .. etc

Me and my family go to different villas every year and they are always fine. Some are better than others of-course, but who cares when your in Orlando Florida
