Just booked? A couple of questions

Just booked my vacation in September for the 5 day Halloween cruise, on the Disney magic out of New York. It'll be my kids first time, aged 6 and 2. Do we need costumes for each day or Just for the parties? Is there a babysitting service enjoy I can enjoy an adult only night as well? Also do they have still have the same shows and parties as the standard cruise including the tangled musical?
Thanks in advance. I'm excited to begin planning another Disney vacation. It's been three years since our last Disney trip!

In reality, you don't need costumes for anything. But the Halloween costume party is just one event on one day. That said, plenty of kids will wear their costumes every day. Your call.

No actual baby-sitting services on DCL. There are the kids clubs and nursery. Nursery for under 3s, and Oceaneer's for 3 and up. They are open, pretty much, all day until late at night. Nursery has a charge, Oceaneer's doesn't.

Each ship has 3 production shows in the Walt Disney Theater that are done on the cruise. Rapunzel's Table has a dinner show (sometimes entire show performed on one night, other cruises it's split over 2 nights).
