Just booked 1st stay @ BLT!!!

I'm still giddy over being able to book a 1bdrm @ BLT for Oct. 18-26. Contemporary has always been my favorite resort so you can imagone my excitement over BLT. I thought it was gonna be impossible w/ the 7 month window but we were able to get in! I can't wait!!!

I have mine in Sept! I got a 2br so am only staying 2 weekend nights.

That's awesome! We were only able to get a standard view, but thats no biggy b/c really how bad could ANY view be w/ that location!?

We wanted a standard view studio for our late September/early October stay since we are rarely in our room to admire the view! We figured if we wanted to look at the MK or lake we could go to the observation deck. And I thought the standard views were more likely to be on the lower floors.

We got a lake view studio and are very happy to have it. Would have preferred using fewer points for standard but I'm just happy to be staying at BLT.

I was also thrilled to book BLT at 7 mos for 10/19-23 - we own BWV and AKV

Bringing DGrD(5) down for MNSSHP - we stayed at Contemp two years ago for MVMCP and it was soooo convenient - especially traveling alone with a little one! I can't wait to stay in a brand new room, enjoy the pool area and eat at Chef Mickey's again!! - and just walk 'home' from MK after a long night!

I purposely booked Std View because we did the 2br to save points for 2010 and because I know we will hardly be in our room with it being my bro and his family's first trip there so I'll save the points for another trip and maybe get the MK or BayLake view We are at BLT during a weekend so the points usage is greater compared to if we stayed midweek.

We just booked a lake view 2 days ago for late Aug - I was so shocked it was available!!!

This is a surprise trip - kids won't find out until May!

I called yesterday at my 7 mo mark and was also able to book . I wanted a standard studio rm to save on pts but the ony thing available was lake view so we took that. Then I showed DH the pics of BLT online with the MK view and now he wants me to waitlist for MK view. I think he is starting to soften on the add on issue and might be swayed after this vaca . We''ll be at BLT 10/20-23 then move over to OKW 23-29th. I am so excited to check BLT out.

What do you think my chances are in BLT for a 7 month window and a Jan. 3 check in? No one is reporting over on the resort availability thread. Anyone with an 11 month window know anything at all? Or if you are calling, would you mind asking for us?

I know I can call in June...we're just excited and trying to plan.

we call at 9:00 am this morning and got BLT for oct.18-23 2br lakeview.

So glad to see everyone else as excited as I am!!! I just called today on a whim to see if I could move my ressie from OKW to BLT.. and GOT IT! Aug 16-21 Lake View... No MK view available... was going to wait list.. but.. it seems a little high point wise.. soooooo sticking with the bay view... but.. ya never kno... I still may change my mind!! LOL!!
