My first trip to my home resort and it will be my grandaughters first trip to WDW :yay: She'll only be 14 months old but I just can not wait to get her obsessed with WDW like her grandmom
I booked a savannah view even though she may not appreciate it, but I know my son and his wife will enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the animals.
Member Services was so nice and patient, I had to borrow points from next year and they were very through explaining everything to me.

Congrats! I hope you have a great trip. Here's some pixiedust: to help the time fly by!

We're leaving in 2 weeks for our first trip to AKV. :yay: I can hardly wait until May 4, 2009.....That's when I'll make our reservation for our 2BR Savanna View at Kidani for Spring Break 2010! We're bringing my parents along and it will be the first time that they see the AKL! It will also be DH's first time staying there!

We are heading home to Kidani August 16-21. With 15 people in 2 BRs Savannah View! Everyone is so excited. Have to get through the LONG COLD winter first! UGH!

Congratulations, we are heading home Oct. 2009, taking my brother, his wife and two kids.

Have a great time! We are bringing our 2 grandsons ( one due any day now) so they will be 2 and about 8 months when we go June 27,2009, so I understand how excited you are!

A lot of my "non-disney" friends think that I'm crazy to start taking my grand-daughter so young. I know that she will not remember the trip but I'm just so excited to see how she will react to the characters and I'm sure she will get a kick out of seeing the animals at the AKV.

I got a few remarks like that, but it's been fun bringing the DGC to Disney. It has also been true, that for us at least, as the DGC are getting a bit older, (they are now 3, 4 and 5) it's been easier on us adults!

We have 2 upcoming trips with this extended family. One in November so they'll get a bit of the Holiday decorations, and then in May, for F&G, a Disney cruise and finally a stay in new Kidani building! The DGS especially wants to see the animals from his villa!

Congrats!!! We will be there next May...not staying in Kidani though. You will love it there. We went and checked it out,the place is gorgeous!

Cool! We will be there too for our first trip home 06/12 - 06/20. We are in Jambo house though. No telling what our view will be since I booked a value 1 BR. :) You will love the savannah view!!!!!!

We also have heard comments about bringing our grandbabies but I always reply that they will be Disney babies and that this is only the first of many, many trips to Disney. The really nice thing about DVC is how easy bringing a baby will be. Everything you have at home. Of course we won't do too much park stuff probably just mornings. I know we will all have a great time!
