Just been upgraded from cat. 6 to 3!!!!!!!!!Yippie!!!!

I booked through DCL via phone and am able to access my reservation on the website. I was told about accessing it by the CM when I called. :)

I was told the same thing last year when I booked directly thru DCL via phone, but it never worked for me. Also, if you go to the link mentioned above, it says right there that it's to check reservations made online. You are lucky you got it to work for your reservation.:smooth:

Actually I just checked it again earlier tonight. Strange that it didn't work for you :( Are you sure they have the right phone number? The bad thing about it is if you check the website then want to call DCL, you have to wait for about 20 minutes because they can't access the reservation.

Nana and Padisneyfan,
Disney has been really great to us...we have so many friends on the ship and they always make our trips an amazing experience. It would be very difficult to be upgraded because of the three-in-a-row unless we were upgraded to the same stateroom on all three (luggage moving logistics), and that would be too much luck even for us! I'll miss a verandah, but it's enough just to be on the ship for a week and a half, and we'll have some sunshine from our secret porthole (although being forward instead of aft will be a trauma for me!). And I am still toying with the idea of hanging a sign on the "secret" deck 7 aft verandah door that says "crew area...no admittance." :teeth:

I also booked thru DCL via telephone and have had no problem checking my res. on the DCL website.

We will also be on the Sept 1 cruise. I checked the Disney website yesterday and we were also upgraded. We went from a Cat 7 to Cat4. We started out with a cat 12 and decided a couple months ago to upgrade to cat 7. Not bad. Start at 12 and end at 4. HMMMM

I agree, our cruise may not be full. If that means I get an upgrade yippee!!

See you there.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

MO

Congratulations on your upgrade! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our cruise (Sept.1st.) is not full. But now I need advice on tipping the concierge!

We are sailing in a CAT 6 next March 2003. I am hoping that some of your luck will rub off on me and that we will have an opportunity to experience an upgrade too.
Enjoy your new room and please come back and tell us how great it is:)

Please rub my elbows for the 1/25/03 Magic cruise :smooth: :smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

we also booked by phone with DCL and were able to access the reservation info at the website...
the only problem the first time was figuring out what phone number the DCL person had put on our reservation (since you need both the reservation # and your phone # for access)...
it turned out she had put in a shortened phone number....(without the country code)...once i knew the number she'd used i had no problem...

as for all the upgrades....that's amazing...congrats to all....
by the way, is this one of the $99 cruises?.....

We booked through the DVC I bet thats why our Reservation # doesn't work on the site..I am wondering if I should give them a call and see what they know

Hi,
I was just wondering if the fact that your going around 9 11 might have something to do with the cruise ship not being full? Well what ever the reason that sounds wonderful!!

Barb,

After I sent the previous message about upgrading you, I thought about you doing the 3 in a row and it would be difficult for them to upgrade you so you could stay in the same cabin. I do hope that at some point you get a terrific upgrade.
